A nice little place off the Hwy. Google maps will take you around Phipps Bend, but it’s right off of 11W as you’re heading towards Kingsport. Sign can be seen from the road. Sweet as can be waitresses. The food was delicious – just wish the greens were fresh instead of canned. The twisted taters was something neat and tasted like potato wedges. You can seat yourself. Plenty of room. Restrooms were clean. Booster seats and high chairs available for children. They have crushed ice for their drinks, so that was awesome!

First time eating here because we don’t live in or around that area. A little nervous to stop at first, judging the outside it seems a little shady and rough but so glad we took the chance. The food was soooo good – probably the best from a restaurant we’ve had in a very long time. The staff was so down to earth and friendly, we were instantly comfortable. Mom & Pop places like this are almost extinct but because of our experience, we will definitely make the drive back to eat here again. Thank you for the delicious food and great service!!

It was just meh. Waitress was sweet, food wasn’t anything special. We went on a Friday evening. My husband got the seafood platter, it looked huge and pretty fresh. I got the chicken tender dinner and the chicken tenders I always remembered were great but tonight they seemed very salty. No one asked me if I wanted a refill on my water. The cash register where you pay is right in front of the bathrooms and the smell of urine coming from the bathrooms was very strong. I don’t know that we will rush to come back anytime soon.

I ordered a turkey club sandwich and ate 2 bites and told the waitress it didn’t taste right. Her only comment was I’ve served them all day and nobody complained ! She did ask if I wanted them to make me another one I’m like no and before I could say anything else she just walked away. Piss poor food and service !!!

Always good country cooking! Catfish is probably better than Cracker Barrel by far. Soup beans, okra, fries, burgers, the 16 ounce country steak, and so many more are great and big portions.
