First time last month, after a neighbor’s recommendation. Only about 10 other customers. Food was very good. Despite both of us ordering the special of the day, fried catfish, it took about 20 minutes to be served. Our waitress seemed to try to not make eye contact with us. We got drink refills from a different waitress and had to ask for our bill well after finishing the meal. Ridiculous service. Won’t go back.

Nice family run restaurant. Very nice employees, great service. Chicken Fried Steak was tender and breaded just right. Potatoes were homemade and not instant. Very tasty meal, thanks Country House Cafe.

Always a delightful treat when we travel back home! This family owned establishment is always excellent and fresh. They have very polite staff and comfortable seating. I always got out of the way to make a trip here when I can! Breakfast and dinner are equally satisfying!

Oh my word!!! If you’re in Terrell check out the Country House Cafe!!! The chicken fried steak is so tender you can cut it with a spoon! The salad is big and sides are homemade amazing! Real Bacon for the baked potato! Yum yum yummy!
