Still Good food and great service from when they were Wild Huckleberry. My picky toddler loves the kids cheeseburger and fries. We already started eating before i took pictures. The boyfriend had the Turkey Club, always good. I always liked their Biscuits and gravy but the Biscuits are better now since they become County Cafe, at least in my opinion. My over easy eggs were little over done but not a big deal to me especially when they are busy, like they almost always are because that’s how good the food and service is. Totally worth the wait if you have to wait. Today was only a 10-15min wait. If expected wait time is longer you can take a nice walk in the downtown area.

Don’t take note of ANY negative reviews, this is hands-down the best breakfast for your buck that you will get in town! The Country Cafe is a family-owned restaurant with the most immaculate small town charm. The owners and staff work so hard to make sure everyone is taken care of and has a great experience. My partner and I have been coming back to the Country Cafe for years – even back when it was still the Wild Huckleberry. The owner has been here through it all. Trust me when I say, come to the Country Cafe and you’ll get a great breakfast and a wonderful experience.

We travel to Ellensburg at least twice a year to fish the Yakima. There is no other restaurant in Ellensburg that I would rather go to for breakfast than the Country Cafe. The service and friendliness of the staff are quite remarkable. And the breakfast food is always well prepared and tasty. And the portions are so large that you should be prepared to take some home.

The restaurant had a neat environment and the service was good, and the food was good, but the prices are ridiculous. I ordered a side of fruit and it was $9! Even though the menu said +$2 for a side of fruit. She said if you order it this way vs. This way it’s cheaper. I said whatever works out best, you know the menu. I shouldn’t have to find every loophole in your menu to get a better price, it should just be a set price!
