Was a little disappointed. There was a long wait then my husband’s mashed potatoes were cold and instant. The pork chop I got was dry. We thought things would be home made more I guess.

Great little cafe! My husband and I were traveling and ran across this place so we stopped in for a quick breakfast. The waitress was very sweet and friendly. She sat us quickly, took our order and our drinks were brought immediately. The food arrived hot, exactly what we ordered and was delicious. And my husband’s coffee cup was kept full the whole time. If we ever pass through St James again, we will be back!

Loved the charm of this quaint Cafe. Everyone there was so welcoming and helpful. The service and food were superb. The coffee was delicious and overall experience was great. I’ll definitely be recommending this Cafe to other friends and family.

Nice setting close to the trout park, service was disappointing. We sat down our order was taken quickly, half of our food came out the other half came almost 10 minutes later, I unfortunately had to send mine back bc it was loaded with extra ingredients i didn’t want, the waitress just got my order wrong witch happens. But as I asked to return it I got attitude, I watched her give it to the cook and she was visibly furious and by the time I did get my food back my group was completely done with the meal so I asked for it to go and got more attitude. So I paid for my food witch my dog will b eating. Not a single time did I get an apology or anything acknowledging the bad service. As I was leaving I noticed both cooks were outside smoking, I’m guessing that’s why the service was slow. Definitely won’t return to this place, you can get food in town with quality and less attitude lol.

First time here and the food was wonderful. Unfortunately service was not as great. Our waitress did not bother to come check on us to see if we needed anything and I did not receive my toast until after I finished my meal when I got up and had to ask for it.

Awesome flowers and hummingbirds on the porch, we watched them while we ate our excellent meal. People were friendly the owner has had it over 30 years. An awesome place to eat.
