We thought we’d give Cotton a second try from a previous mediocre experience while family was visiting. The dining experience was horrible from start to finish. We got seated next to the waitress counter. It took a while to get anyone over to our table. We ordered some beers and spinach artichoke dip app. After watching the bartender be a jack wagon trying to, unsuccessfully, impress a group of folks and train a new bartender I walked up and ordered the beers myself. The new bartender couldn’t pour a couple beers. Take a look at the pic of our app. We thought the amount of bread that came with the dip was a mistake. The waitress said no it wasn’t but we could order more for another $3.50. I told them we didn’t want it and that’s when the manager said he’d ‘comp’ us more bread. You could tell the dip was warmed from frozen. We were all feeling like a burger and through conversation the waitress told us all the burgers were frozen patties. We couldn’t believe $15+ burgers were frozen. Two still got the burgers, a chicken sandwich and some shared a pizza. The pizza and chicken were just OK. One of the burgers came out raw in the middle. It was embarrassing that we took family here for dinner. Service and food were very poor. We won’t be back.

We were in town for a short weekend trip and were looking for a brunch spot before hitting the road. Although the choices were few, this one stood out due to the menu and the ratings. We arrived as a party of 4 on Sunday early afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded at all and we were promptly seated.

Visiting in town for graduation and we got a number one recommendation for this restaurant. I cannot begin to say how wonderful this place is especially our waitress Kim. She’s friendly and lovely and an amazing server, so good we came back for a second night! Food is delicious and drinks are well priced. We love Kim and manager was very welcoming!!!!! Must visit.

Was really a great place to meet up. Not particularly kid friendly. They did make the two year old with us chicken tenders. Service was outstanding. We had a variety of food all was very tasty. We went for lunch, I’m sure the night time ambience is great. Will go back!

My boyfriend surprised me with taking me here for our 2 year anniversary. The patio was closed, but inside was just as beautiful. It was a very nice and laid back atmosphere. We got the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and the tobacco row burger for the meal. Both the appetizer and meal was amazing! Our waitress, Kim I believe her name was, was easily the best waitress I have ever had at any restaurant. I will recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice place to eat in Danville. We will definitely be back and hope to get patio seating when we do. I would give more stars if I could!

In town for the day.. decided to try for early dinner.. atmosphere is fabulous, food very good. Had a little snafu with my entree but was quickly made right by Ethan and Melissa … thanks for taking care of customers! would definitely recommend… the pig and fig pizza … so delicious !

Here from Florida visiting a friend and decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and view. But we were more wowed by the quality of the food and service. Sorry we didn’t catch the name of our server but she was great. We had the truffle fries to share, I had the shrimp and grits, my husband had the rigatoni and our friend had the filet mignon. They were all fabulous with absolutely zero critiques.
