They are thieves . I ordered a LARGE pan of jerk chicken . They charged me for a LARGE pan of jerk chicken and when my friend went to pick the order up they only made a HALF of a pan . Didn’t even want to give any sauce with it . When I spoke to the lady I ordered from she said they ran out of the “long” pans but swore up and down this was a large. Instead of lying, and making excuses. Why not give me TWO half of pans to make up for it? Instead of stealing money and not giving what the customer PAID for? The photos speaks for itself.

This is my second time giving this restaurant a try. The first time that I went, they were no beef patties available at around 5:30 in the evening. As you can see, they close at 8:30 PM. I was told by one of the owners, the woman serving at the front, that she will not be putting out any more to cook because of the time. So I left.

I liked them when I first started going there, then the service changed. I always order roti and now I get nothing but dough and very few ingredients. My last order had 2 very small pieces of chicken, no peas or carrots and 2 small potatoes. The roti was so thin that it broke at the bottom and left a hole on my plate. So mad I wasted $15 on bread. I have complained about their lack of consistency with their Roti. I guess it depends on who makes it and that shouldn’t be. The recipe should be the same each time. Also, the staff is not friendly and give an attitude when you ask a question. I will no longer patronize them and will go elsewhere. Mad I couldn’t give less than 1 star.

This is literally the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had….the jerk wasn’t jerking at all; the rice&beans was flavorless and they were stingy with the gravy. Only 2 pieces on plantain on a large dinner order. I wonder how long they’ve been in business; don’t think they’ll be around much longer.

I am going to leave a review because I see a lot of people are upset about the customer service. I hate to say it but I feel when I walk into a Jamaican restaurant and they have an attitude I know it’s about to be fire . Every time I have gotten the oxtails absolute perfection. Spicy and good.,..all of the passion was cooked in it and she doesn’t have a smile left I can’t speak for anything else because I only drive across town for those. Who goes to Jamaican restaurants for a smile? Plantains are the best I ever had. I am going there now!!

Sadly we ordered bbq jerk combo & stew and rice combo and instead we got dry chicken (no stew or seasoning) & the bbq jerk had no bbq after I asked. We got no sides (no cornbread or plantain) after requesting both. I had decent hopes after reading the other reviews, must be fake. Sadly, will not be returning bad first experience. I love Jerk pit but wanted to try something closer. Big mistake..

The food was ok I’ve had worse but I have also had way better. The portion size was highly disappointing especially for the price I paid for the two meals. The most upsetting part was the macaroni and so called cheese. I don’t even know how or what to say about it. Who ever made the macaroni and cheese I hope the didn’t make it for thanksgiving as well. I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the macaroni and cheese before I throw it away.

They have a restaurant side and then a whole other section dedicated to York Castle ice cream, which is based in Rockville MD, and Italian ice! I haven’t found many independent ice cream places around here so it was a welcome find.

It’s a toss up when they will actually have most dishes available… very slow service, food was okay, if you want good Jamaican go to Caribe Express on Main Street
