Not only did I get food poisoning from eating here, when I called and informed them I didn’t even get an apology and they’ve denied it that it could have possibly been their food. Even though I had eaten nowhere else on the day in question. And I will never, ever eat here again. I called them to inform them about it so they could check their food and check the kitchen. And all I got was a belligerent what do you expect me to do? I can’t make you feel any better. How about checking the uncooked food and the cleanliness of the kitchen too? so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I will be making a complaint to the health department first thing Monday morning.

The BBQ was enough for 2 people on the Large BBQ plate. The BBQ is really good. Need just a little more sauce. The Baked Beans had the perfect amount of spice to em. Not too spicy. Good flavor. The fried Okra was good as it usually is. The Mac n Cheese was perfect too! Loved it. I recommend this place for the food and the service. Nice people. Great food.

Order was placed at the wrong location. Manager who answered the phone called to tell me, and hung up on me instead of giving me an opportunity to pay for the order. Did not handle the situation professionally at all. The location in Homewood is much more professional than the Roebuck location.

Ordered a loaded pulled pork potato and got chicken.. Honestly it wouldn’t have been so bad but I don’t eat dark meat chicken AT ALL and you can tell it has dark meat as well as white meat..

Visited Costa’s today while being on the east side of Birmingham, food was decent. I’ve had better. However my experience with the owner and staff was definitely subpar. The customer service was so confrontational and aggressive I would probably never visit again. The order taker which happened to be the manager/owner was maybe having a bad day; continued to scream through the microphone about do I want cheese on a sandwich that automatically comes with cheese. Got the sandwich still no cheese on it. My son salad had no chicken as we asked for a Greek Salad with Chicken and a Jumbo burger. The order taker and I had a 2 minute conversation about the Jumbo burger, I told her that I would like the burger exactly how it comes, which she said comes with cheese. What a waist of $20 bucks. My son stated that he would have rather went to McDonald’s.
