Worth a detour from the highway or really from anywhere. Great place for burgers! You get more than what you pay for here, $13 for a huge burger cooked exactly as requested, served with a nice portion of delicious fries. The onion rings are great too! Good selection of local beer on tap. Nice size dinning room and bar, they were able to seat our party of nine easily. It can be a bit loud if it’s busy but… it is a pub. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Sports bar atmosphere. Large TV on back wall of restaurant. Bar in center with more tv’s. Can be very loud when busy. Food is good. Wait staff very attentive. Prices are reasonable. Great place for a get together with friends.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered the chili and a meatball grinder with fries. The chili was very tasty, nice and thick, and satisfying. The meatball sandwich was also really nicely done. It had great flavor and the meatballs are house Made. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.4.

Stopped here on the way back from Cape Cod. Our table had 4 seafood dishes, and they were all perfectly cooked. The baked scrod and fish & chips were particularly yummy. Very friendly service, too.

We traveled 1,700 miles to for a round of Golf at Fenner Hill in Hope Valley, RI and stopped here for drinks and dinner at the bar. What a find! In the middle of nowhere but who are these people? This is a six star location, built around a rectangular bar that takes up 90% of the place, a craft brew expert on the premises and whoever the chef is deserves a Michelin star, no joke. The baked scrod is other-worldly, battered in a light crust we can best guess as cracker soaked in butter— amazing! The Meatball and pasta deserves a restaurant of it’s own, the gravy excellent and the pasta perfectly cooked. The only thing missing was a diving board. The staff were attentive, excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Of the 1,700 mile journey, this was at the top of our list.

Wanted to eat there cause every time we drove by, it was packed! Turned out to be a great decision. We went for lunch, a group of 4, on a Tuesday, and had no trouble getting seats at that time. I ordered Steak, husband ordered the chili & Fish & Chips (adding pics), guests both ordered baked Scrod. Everything was excellent, especially my steak, which I ordered well done. I have been known to send steaks back because I can’t stand blood/pink in them! But this was perfect, AND not overdone/hard as a rock. A perfect well done steak. Got a drink as well, a Tripping Animals Limonada Rosada, and it was really good also.

I have been driving past this restaurant for a long time. It has changed hands a few times over the years. I decided to pop in for lunch. I was alone and the hostess was reluctant to give me a table and asked me to sit at the bar. I didn’t want to sit at the bar so she said she had a table in the back. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea. At first I thought they had given me water. It was flavorless. The waiter asked if I wanted another one but I had him remove it from the bill. I ordered the Texas burger which came with fries. It had cheddar cheese, bacon, onion rings, and BBQ sauce on it. It was okay but nothing special. I don’t know if I would go back. The waiters did a good job of making sure I had everything.

Totally unexpected find! Traveling on our way to the Cape we hopped off the highway looking for a place to eat. We were so lucky to end up at Cornerstone Pub! It’s a casual welcoming place with great service and the best fish and chips we’ve ever had!! Delicious flaky fish with a perfect batter! Even the fries were great. We will definitely come back on trips passing through the area and both of us said we’d make a day trip from CT just for the fish and chips! (The piece is huge, this picture does not do it justice.)

All around exceptional! Recently in and out of RI and our great neighbors recommend this place, so we tried it. Lucky us that we went on the day they had their prime rib sandwich. It was delicious, as was the pizza and Reuben sandwich! Huge micro brew and wine menu, and the staff….Amazing friendly people and the atmosphere is . Even the owner came to our table and greeted us. Definitely going back!….I heard GameDay in that place is a BLAST as well!!
