The quality of the food you can taste and it is delicious. But it is quite pricey for the portions. I’ve had breakfast a few times now and it seems to depend on who the cook is at the time for how great your sandwich will be made. One day my sandwich was stacked and plated beautifully and the sandwich held together well and then may be a week or two later I got the same sandwich but it was falling apart in my hands and it didn’t feel like food I was the last time I got it. So they need to work on their consistency a little bit but the quality of their food is very good.

Do you want local, high quality food? The best way to describe this new kitchen is that they treat food full of integrity, and because of that it’s one of the best local breakfast/brunch/lunch in all of Tahoe. They treat each dish particularly and we are very impressed with the high quality and attention to detail for each food item. This kitchen would challenge any boutique breakfast/brunch spot in the Bay Area, but we now have it here in Truckee. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had and by far the best potatoes (which come on the side with every breakfast sandwich). Come check this place out and let’s keep this wonderful spot around because they deserve it. Cheers mate

What a treat! We had a nice easy-going breakfast with wonderful bread (and other fresh ingredients). We enjoyed the option to have a classic breakfast or something a little more modern — the Turkish eggs were spectacular.

Excellent food! Everyone in our group had very different preferences and all loved their meals. Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back.

After my husband and I had the Turkish eggs with a side of bacon and the croquette breakfast, he swore after that religious experience, he would quit his day job, we would move to Truckee and he would beg the restaurant to let him train as a sous chef there. Incredible. Do not miss this place for breakfast if you are in Truckee.

I’ve never been more ripped off than I have at this place, $20 for a cold sandwich with rock hard bread we watched our food sit for 15 minutes before someone decided to bring it. The bacon was good everything else was cold and the potatoes were disgusting I’ve never been served worst potatoes in my life so undercooked and cold.

Everything we had here was delicious. I had the best egg salad sandwich on a croissant that I have ever had. In my group, we got the salmon hash, a chicken provolone sandwich on focaccia bread, and the short rib sandwich on cheddar jalapeno bread, and the biscuits and jam to share. Everything was delicious!

Really happy that another local business took over this spot. I was sad when Morgan’s shut down. Cornerstone did a great job at expanding their offerings into a lunch menu and bar. Haven’t tried any cocktails yet and just stopped by for lunch for the first time. Menu is limited to sandwiches and salads right now but I hope it expands a bit in the future (fingers crossed for soups in the winter?). Expect city prices for the food, but quality should be worth it.

Outdoor and indoor seating areas are small get your seat early it’s worth it. The chicken provolone sandwich on focaccia was delish. The aioli, heirloom tomato and sweet red onion made for a tasty chicken sandwich. The bakery has been open a while the kitchen where you can have breakfast and/or lunch has been open a year. Sitting looking out the window you can watch the trains go by as you munch away.

Mind-blowing croissants! SO flaky. And just look at that super chocolatey turtle brownie. I might need to move here.
