Overlook the building. It’s old, small, and not attractive. First ltime eating here and I forgot to take pictures before we ate. The best authentic Chinese food we have found in Springfield. Large sharable portions, decent prices, and good service. Highly recommend!

Corner 21 absolutely amazed me. This place serves an authentic Chinese cuisine experience. Not at all like the Chinese ‘buffet’ style type restaurants. I ordered the beef brisket noodle soup, and I think it’s currently my new favorite dish. I highly recommend it. I also recommend (not pictured, sorry!) the cumin cilantro beef, and the wonton soup. All dishes were delicious, and I’d definitely order them again.

The food is very authentic. The braised pork belly over rice and pork short ribs with taro is savory and has a unique taste. The Mapo tofu is so delicious, the tofu was silky, and the chili oil is so addicting and not spicy at all. The egg yolk shrimp is a must try. My favorite dish! It’s so crispy and light. You can just eat the whole prawn as it is because it’s so crispy and full of flavors. I would go back again to try all of the dishes. The pricing is good because the portion is for 2-3 servings. It’s like a family meal, or you can eat all to yourself, but it’ll be a lot. They do serve rice in a big bowl, and you split it among your group. Very asian family oriented style, and I like it because food tastes better when it’s being shared, especially with your friends or family. The waiting time is phenomenal. There was a group of 12 ordered ahead of us, and we still got our food within a timely manner. They do get busy, but it’s worth the experience.

Super fresh and delicious traditional Chinese food if you’re not looking for the standard “Springfield” fare. Each dish we got had completely unique flavors, and all were delicious in their own right. But if forced to choose, I would say the Dry Fried Green Beans w/ Pork were the winner from our first order.

BEST Chinese food in Springfield!!! Corner 21 is authentic, delicious, & the service is always great! I reccomend the pineapple chicken or hot crispy fish, both are fantastic options! Prices are reasonable for the portion and quality.

I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant while I was in Springfield for a weekend. I decided to give this restaurant a try due to a high Google rating. The restaurant was small. It had simple decor and austere furniture. It was packed with customers when we arrived. We did have to wait a little bit for our food. Fortunately, the food presentation was excellent, and the portion was plentiful. The food was delicious and tasteful. It had a menu of authentic Chinese food. The price was reasonable. I would recommend anyone to come either early or late to avoid crowds during lunch and dinner time due to a limited seating capacity.

Everything that I saw coming out of that kitchen looked like it was TOP NOTCH and smelled so good. I had #31 the soup was so good and sp much! Enough for multiple meals or to share. My son got #5 & it was amazing too. Can’t wait to come back!

Sunday lunch date with Mom! I understand now why this tiny 12 table place is highly recommended!! Food was amazing! Mom’s vege plate was cold and tart with great tasting and unusual vegetables! I had the dry fried calamari! Stunningly different and salty, and spicy enough to not tear my mouth apart. The cold salad we shared helped! Definitely going back!!
