Had a lovely meal and experience at this “new to me” restaurant! Saw it on social media and the location and atmosphere live up to the hype. With the canals and boat slips it feels more like a tropical paradise than east Detroit. Loved the outdoor areas, the whimsical furniture/settings, and combined indoor/pergola/outdoor areas.

It’s a great location, a great atmosphere, and the service was awesome. It’s LGBTQ friendly, but parking was limited. They don’t have enough parking places, we had to park far away and walk around 7 minutes, which is ok to me but some people might not like it. The reason why I gave it 4 stars. The restaurant doesn’t not have a sign, (check my pictures below or above) but food was good, we ordered 2 side dishes, one fish and chips, one beer and a margarita, the bill came around $ 70 dollars for two people, it’s kind of expensive, but overall we enjoyed it.

Detroit’s best kept secret discovered. My husband and I enjoyed our delicious drinks, The Paloma and Save the bees drinks for the WIN!! We also ordered the Jalapeño hush puppies and the Burger with house homemade chips.

The drinks are the highlight here, food was definitely good but nothing stood out as very unique or amazing to me. The unique cocktails though were all great, the margarita was unique and strongly infused with jalapeno pepper & the beet drink was splendid and refreshing, a must try for summer! Very cute ambience/setting by the river.

Such a magnificent place to get food and relax at near the canals in Detroit. Cannot recommend this place enough. Menu is seasonal and all locally grown ingredients. Location is a renovated boat dock and it’s such a vibe in the summer.

Such a great spot for drinks and food! The atmosphere is great, being right on the canal and the staff was wonderful! We learned it’s dog friendly and we live within walking distance.. So, we’ll definitely be regulars moving forward.

I went to this place solely for their healthy food options, and I must say I was satisfied. The kale salad was tasty and nutritious, I loved it. The clam chowder is good, too. Their portion sizes are big, so I would suggest getting half size if you don’t enjoy huge meals.

I’ve been here several times, Winter, spring, fall and summer. Every time amazing. Honestly can say the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Staff is the best! You can’t beat the atmosphere and location. Cocktails are delicious, pitchers of beer are great. Fried smelt is a must have!

Another gem in the city that Im just learning about. Miles our waiter was cool and very informative. One of the owners even came to check on us to confirm if we were enjoying ourselves.

I found this place randomly while looking at google maps and thought that I must give this place a try. I reserved online and came to the restaurant for lunch on the weekend. I love the location! We tried the marrow burger and the falafel wrap. Great flavor and equally good service too. My wife will be returning again.
