Really great food. Restaurant was very clean and service was great. Only outdoor seating at the picnic tables in front, but they are covered. Even my son (the pickiest eater) loved their chicken and fries.

This was honestly one of the best places we’ve been on the island for food. We got the shrimp ceviche, Argentinian flank steak, and the coconut flan. Everything was SO fresh & flavorful. It really stands out from any other restaurant because it tastes like a real home-cooked meal versus typical ~restaurant~ food…if you know what I mean. The service was great too!! Very friendly & FAST. We can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!!!

(GEM ALERT ) wow what a small gem tucked back in the side of the road. Great Authentic food, reasonably priced and the server was very knowledgeable. There is no indoor seating, only outdoor seating, but it is covered. But that didn’t bother us as we had our dog and he fit in just find. If you are in the Waianae area check this place out. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.

Server were gentle and patience, location was busy but we gor our table in less then 5 minutes. I tried the PERNIL which a sort of pulled pork, it was terrific, tasty and good! I will go back again before going back home.

On our last day in Hawaii we rode up the beach coast to kill some time before our flight. We drove by Coquitos and it caught our eye with the colorful and vibrant outdoor area. We stopped by and looked at the menu. It all looked delicious so we decided to order some lunch. It was all delicious and the waitress was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on their tastiest dishes. They do a great job making tostones. The steak sandwich on two plantain patties was also very flavorful and juicy. It was a nice find and we would be happy to come back and eat here again on our next trip back to Hawaii.

The online menu wasn’t up to date, so we ordered in person and took our food to go. Great eats and they were very kind about answering my wife’s questions.

About 25 miles outside of Honolulu and totally worth the drive. Ordered Pollo a la Parilla with Habichuelas (kidney beans) and Gandule rice. It was delicious! Alcohol is not available but you can BYO. Check them out…Christie will take good care of you!

OMG the food is so good! I had the shrimp mofongo. Sam had the garlic shrimp appetizer. We we to Puerto Rico this time last year. This food beats most of what we had in Puerto Rico. And this was probably the best meal we had while visiting Honolulu! The food was great! The service was awesome! The atmosphere is pretty special also! Well done! Too bad we found it towards the end of our trip!

I would love to give this place a better rating, however there was an incident while we were there that may have caused us to not enjoy our food as much. I was expecting maybe better quality and service then we got and with the incident I think it just threw everyone off, we took our food to go not to be rude and threw it away later. Maybe schedule certain things after hours when customers are not there so they can enjoy their food.
