Great Italian place. Definutely recommend and will be back again soon! We went there after a dinner at a place that wasn’t as great, so this was our second dinner. But this place will become our regular for Italian from now on. Great service, amazing wine selection. We had bruschetta and spaghetti meatballs pasta with tiramisu to finish off. All really tasty!

Unfortunately I got cacio e Pepe…… SOUP. The first time we went there in late October last year it was hands down best cacio e pepe I had ever come across in my life. Today I have no idea what I ate, I was so depressed cause I could not wait to eat it again. I was told recipe didn’t change but my pics don’t lie. The waitress and bus boy were phenomenal though I will say that.

I’m giving this restaurant a low rating due to the experience we had with the service. My husband and I went to Coppolillo’s tonight for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were seated at a table but never had a server come to offer us drinks, talk about the menu, etc. We saw the woman who was supposed to be our server talking with other servers, kind of twiddling her thumbs at times. We did ask her for water, which she brought, and then disappeared again. Finally, after about 20-30 minutes, I went up to the bar to order drinks. At that point Austin, the bartender (who was great), apologized and took care of us with drink and dinner orders. We were very grateful to Austin for giving us good service, even though he was busy at the bar. At the end of the night, we spoke to the manager, Jeffrey, to tell him about the poor experience we had with our originally assigned server and he just said, “I know, Austin told me, I’m really sorry, here’s my card, I hope you come back again.” He then went on to talk about all the things that had been going wrong at the restaurant that night, but seemed to take no accountability and made no effort on his end to correct the issue. Our food was good, but as working parents who finally got to have a date night, the poor service was a deal breaker for us.

Absolutely amazing restaurant overall. Bring your appetite! The atmosphere is very personal. I love being able to see in the kitche, and the layout has an intimate feel. The staff was attentive but not overwhelming. Exactly what you would expect when fine dining. The manager was personable and left his card, which I thought was a nice touch. They had several trainee, but you would have never known because they did fabulous. The chef himself brought out some of our course, which I also thought was a wonderful touch. Great wine selection by the glass and bottle, and they, of course, have a full bar. The food I have to say was exceptional. We had the meatballs and calamari to start. Both were amazing. I have to call out the calamari specifically because it was almost a meal in itself and very delicious. I had the tortellini carbonara, which was everything I wanted it to be. Fabulous! For dessert, we had the butter and carrot cake, which are both their own food group. The butter cake was to die for, in fact. They had a Nutella cake as a special, and based on our desserts, I wish I had tried it too. I ended the night with a Graham’s 20yr port, and my friend ended it with coffee. Wonderful evening. I don’t live in Illinois, but I can tell you if I was from this area, I would dine at this restaurant several times a week. Definitely a place to make a staple if you can.

The food here was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the calamari, Tortellini, chicken parmesan, and 2 other pasta dishes, but the peppercorn New York strip was incredible. Everyone gave it a 20 out of 10 stars. They brought a steak knife, but it was never needed.

Great Date Night spot. My husband and I have gone here twice and it was definitely a win both times. Good vibes, nice decor, great food with excellent portion sizes. We had awesome service from the bus boys, to the waiters to management.

My daughter ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. Took one bite it was uncooked and soggy! They did not take it off our bill. Even after spending 240.00 on other food and drinks.

Found Coppolillo’s for a late Sunday dinner and so glad we did. Just a block off of Milwaukee in Libertyville, we were amazed that we missed this fine dining location so close to home. The menu has something for everyone, and everything we tried was excellent.
