We celebrated my father’s and daughter’s bday here. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. We had a large group, and everyone commented how much they enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It’s also a nice place to grab a drink.

I’m mixed on this one. I came here on a Friday a few weeks ago, with some of the fellas, had a drink smoked old Fashioned, which was great, and a ribeye steak that was fantastic. 2 weeks later, I brought my wife back cause we like most love good food, and I was a little surprised at how different the food was. I’m hoping the next time they will redeem themselves. Drink (old fashioned) was off the list , and food just wasn’t as good. I felt as if i was at a different restaurant. I’m not giving up , but I hope for a better experience next time.

We stopped by Copper and Salt Kitchen for breakfast after having dinner there a few months earlier and we enjoyed our meal. We both had the continental breakfast and it was light and fresh featuring Ellenos honey yogurt, fresh blackberries and strawberries, coffee, and toast. The yogurt, a regional favorite, was yummy and the blackberries were phenomenal. Blackberries are a NW staple and though I’ve had them many times, these were truly exceptional. I wonder where the kitchen sources them. The service was good and you can’t beat the view of Mt. Rainier over the Sound. Worth a visit for breakfast or lunch.

I’m a huge breakfast person, and Copper & Salts breakfast was to die for. This spot is in a beautiful hotel on the waterfront, and the wait can get pretty long so make sure your aware of that. However this is plenty of seating in the lobby. The food was absolutely beautiful looking and so tasteful, we each got something different to try the menu. I usually take more pictures of the food but took a quick video because I was too excited to eat. This is a great spot to take out of town guests not just for the quality food, but for the view and the quick access to trails and other shops in the area.

Got the Lamb for dinner with a glass of wine. Lamb came out, looked good but tasted burnt. Turned it over and it was black. Like the cook left it on the grill while he was talking to some one. I asked that it go back and make a new one (just in case it was a mistake). The second one came out tasting pretty good. Until I got to the second piece of the four piece chops. Yes, it was burnt also. So he made just one piece to replace and gave me the same old foods. Guess what they charged? Full price! I have to go to Wild Fin cause I’m still hungry.

A great restaurant that is part of the silver cloud hotel. Whether staying overnight, hanging out at Point Ruston, or want to grab a bite or drink, this place will serve your needs. Valet parking or parking on the street. Great selection of liquors and wines. The food is phenomenal no matter what you choose. And don’t forget a fantastic view of Ruston Way and Mtn Rainer from almost anywhere in the restaurant. The staff is fantastic, warm, welcoming, helpful, and prompt.
