Fantastic experience at the Copper Onion. Like having this addition to Billings’s West end. I had a very comfortable booth and the service was friendly and attentive. Started with French onion soup and the Calamari. French onion was very rich with spot on cheese topping. Possibly the best rendition I’ve ever eaten. The Calamari was fried perfectly with sweet/sour flavors and a slightly spicy ginger finish. My entree was the Cajun Mahi and Crab. The fish was delicately cooked and still moist with a beautiful Cajun spice. Sided with text book Rissouto and mushrooms that still had snap on the bite. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend a bottle of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape for the fish.

A group of 11 of us ate lunch at Copper Onion on Aug 17. We had a wonderful experience. Food was excellent. Several ordered the baked scampi, which received very positive reviews. Those that ordered sandwiches or burgers had a choice of homemade potato chips or fried. Everything was perfectly done. Service was prompt, friendly, and the servers delivered every special request with a smile! We were too full for dessert. We highly recommend Copper Onion and Local Kitchen, a gastropub with the same owner. We have eaten at both and both are terrific.

Delicious meals and great service! What more can you ask for. The pork ribeye was our favorite of the night. Different flavors of apple, blue cheese and pecans and the pork was so tender. Can’t wait to come back.

First time here with friends. Heard alot of positive things. Was a little disappointed. Food was great, kudos to the chef. Server was very inattentive, never asked about refills on water or my drink. When she finally came back to the table I asked for a refill. We were there for an early dinner, side garage door was open and was 94° where we were seated due to the open door. The swarm of flies inside landing on us and the table were a little hard to handle.

Overall the experience was ok, The food pricing was a little spendy for the quality of food that we received. Everything was fine until we sked for to go cups for our drinks. The waitress got. Little snooty when we asked if we could take our glass cups with us.

Super yummy! BEST FRENCH ONION SOUP IVE EVER HAD ! I got a huckleberry drop cocktail that was so pretty, flavorful and strong. We ordered the calamari appetizer and it was very flavorful, my only critique would be to add a dipping sauce to go with it ♀️ my husband ordered a beer and it was totally flat, the next one was better but not super bubbly. So just a couple little things that wasn’t pErFeCt but Everything was very flavorful and well presented. Best part was the food flew out of the kitchen, I love when there’s not a long wait when I’m hungry . Overall I would go back for sure!! We ordered drinks, apps, soups, and mains and the bill was under $100, I think that’s awesome for the caliber of food they are serving.

My family and I went to copper onion bistro tonight for dinner. We ordered the armadillo eggs, French onion soup and pork tenderloin medallions. Everything was so delicious! Our server was Elisha. Hoping I spelled that right. She was amazing and really knowledgeable about the menu. Great server! Great food! We will be back!

Wonderful atmosphere. It was a very busy Friday night, but we made a reservation. We were seated promptly, waited a little beat for our order to be taken but it wasn’t excessive. Just a busy night. We had the smothered fries appetizer, the C.O.B. burger and the Pigs and Figs ravioli, and the huckleberry ice cream pie. The burger wasn’t our fave (different strokes for different folks) but we enjoyed everything else. Our appetizer came out really quickly and our dinner followed soon after.
