Copss Bar is . Me and my friend came here randomly to watch the Nugget and Lakers game. Definitely a cool spot to chill early in the evening, whether you want some drinks, hookah or food (which was mad delicious), but it’s also a lit spot to go out to after 10:30PM. We met the owner too and he’s a really down to earth guy. Me and my friend loved this place and we’re already back tonight . Definitely check it out, you won’t regret it

If i can give this place no stars then i would. I was told by a friend who comes here a lot to check the place out (she knows management btw) i said sure. There’s not a lot of latino bars on Long Island so why not? BUT If you’re in this type of business or worked at a bar/club, you know some places can be scammers. This place is one of them 1. Charging a $20 cover charge on a sunday night 2. Bartenders choose whatever they wanna charge you for the same exact drink. First girl charged me $12 for a house tequila and orange juice. A little pricey but whatever. Second girl charged me $10 for the same drink Lol so i ordered a 3rd time ($13 this time), asked for a reciept and they said NO! Like what do you mean no? I let it slide because at the end of the day seemed like shawty needed the extra $2-$3. Oh and back to the $20 cover charge, they weren’t charging everyone who came in. The spanish bouncer was scamming when he had the chance. I confronted the man about it and he got mad?? Like I’m the one who should be mad. You took my money when you weren’t suppose to?? I pity the man though, his fragile ego can’t handle accountability when it’s due. This place is not worth the hype though. Too many middle aged people. Too many red flags in one night. If you want to listen to the other 9 “great” reviews then by all means go ahead. I just hope you keep these in mind! They should not be charging you a cover charge on a slow night and make sure you keep tabs on the amount of $$ you waste on drinks! 🙂
