Nice, clean restaurant. Very large dining area. When we first walked, we were unsure how to order. The first thing you see is the meat area. They let you know how to order and then you walk in to the restaurant for the rest of your sides and drinks. The meats were tasty and juicy. All was cooked perfectly. I also ordered a baked potato with shredded beef. Although the skin was overly seasoned the whole item was delicious.

Wanted to see what all the Big Texas BBQ was about and let me tell you Coopers was fire .. the brisket is amazing , the ribs beef and pork are hearty and the chicken was spot on. Seasoned to perfection and healthy portions! This is a must do if you like BBQ and you are in New Braunfels outside San Antonio .. thank me later !

1st time visiting this place. We came here for Sunday lunch. It wasn’t too busy & the staff was very friendly. One of their specials that day was jalapeno- bacon Mac n cheese….oh my….soooo good! The brisket had good flavor, as did the turkey, sauce was not needed on either. The jalapeno-cheese sausage was a bit dry & not the best I’ve had. Messed up and asked for the short end of the ribs instead of the long. They had good flavor but also a lot of cartilage, so it took a long time to eat and we didn’t get a ton of meat. I’ll know better next time. The green beans w bacon & onions were good. The Pinto beans were great. Loved that they were cooked with large jalapenos for extra flavor. They also had smoked cinnamon apples….definitely get these. Basically dessert. Loved them!

When my brother told me that this BBQ was the best he’d ever had, I thought he was being a little bit hyperbolic. He wasn’t. There isn’t brisket like this back in Ohio…or anywhere. It’s incredible, I don’t know what else to say. And the sides shone just as bright. I don’t really even like beans, but those were delicious. Mac and cheese = yum. The cobblers-worth the diabetes I’ll probably get from eating both. Next time I’m back in San Antonio, this is my first stop.

What is not to love love love about this place! Everything is weighted so if u want a bite, 1/2 a lb, 1 rib or a slab this is the place. The staff is very helpful and knowable on everything. The sides…. make it a single or double? Everything is homemade greenbeans with bacon, Mac and cheese the peach cobbler just to name a few. They don’t have a wait staff but not to worry…. everything is on the table at a hands reach. You know what they say about beans the more you eat the more you toot! The beans are unlimited! And delish!!! Great BBQ keep doing what your doing!

friendly. Picnic bench in the back. BBQ is good as the one in Llano. Def closer to San Antonio. Always a good spot for BBQ

Their brisket is amazing as well as the jalapeno cheddar sausage. Their sauce is a vinegar based sauce and i really enjoy it with their chicken. The jalapeno mac n cheese is good and hits the spot. Though they are pricey its great BBQ for the area.

Delicious, moist, and succulent meat are some of the words I would use to describe this place. Btw if you have left over is just as good and moist as when it was freshly served. Its a great place to have a great together.

Very pricey. It was me and one other person and it ended up being $60+! The amount of food we got for that amount was not worth it. Still big portions, but not $30 worth. The food was good, but not the best BBQ. The BBQ is very heavily seasoned and a little bit too salty. However they have a great atmosphere. Plenty of room to sit. Liked the free complementarity beans. Just very pricey for not that great of quality bbq. I do not believe it’s worth going there when you have Blacks BBQ and a lot of other options. Would not recommend. The food did not taste fresh. It was warm, but not hot. Service was kind. But just not the right place for BBQ.

Wow! Best BBQ ribs I ever had. A must place to stop for meat lovers. Big parking space for cars and motorcycles as well. I would come here weekly if I live in this area. We are just a group of guys passing by here on our motorcycles. Love
