Cook’s Steakhouse & Saloon is open & we want to be your new “hometown” bar. We have completely remodeled the place from the ground up to bring a fresh and welcoming new restaurant and bar to the great city of Elko. We are bringing a contemporary western bar to this cowboy town. We have a full dining area along with a full bar and back patio. When you pull up a chair in our restaurant you will feel right at home! Offering a variety of steaks, seafood, and pasta during our dinner hours. Besides the restaurant we will also be offering catering on and off site.

I stopped by the last night I was in Elko. My meal was at the bar because it was only me. I had a draft Stella. For dinner I had halibut which comes with a simple side salad and a dinner roll. The service was friendly and the atmosphere Western and comfortable. Total tab with tip was $42. I would stop by again.

Great food and service. We didn’t have to wait long for drinks or our meals. The butter for the bread was a nice treat. I think it has cinnamon and honey in it. Yummy. There was a man sound testing for the weekend performance and he sounded great. Disappointed he wasn’t doing a set. He has a great voice and can play the strings very well.

I personally think it’s one of the best places I’ve ever been for service find it quite amazing that the owner will come and grab your drink and fill it up for you I had iced tea and it looked off and I didn’t say anything he saw me looking at it came over and fixed it. And the food I’ve never had an issue with was a good steak and good pasta

Went in looking for a nice dinner, waited 20 min to take my order. Food took over an hour to come out, chicken was raw and cold inside with a tiny amount of sad looking fries on a massive plate. $5 dollars for a bottle of lukewarm coors lite. The kicker is that there were only 10 people in the restraunt on a friday night, why is there such bad service and slow food with so few people? Such a sad waste of what could be a great establishment, great atmosphere but got absolutely nothing else going for it. Would not even reccomend this place to my worst enemies.

A wonderful place to eat and a great environment for conversation. Had the ribeye steak sandwich w onion rings. Onions rings cooked perfectly and the sandwich phenomenal. Staff was amazingly friendly and professional. From our server to the manager, everyone took the time to make sure everything was good. Definitely a place for a quick meal or to bring the family.

We were really excited about this place. The service and atmosphere were pretty good. The food is absolutely TERRIBLE and not worth a dime. Fries were gross and seemed like they had just been thawed. Chicken on burger was tiny and not at all portioned correctly. Dinner salad clearly came from an old salad bag and “house dressing” from a cheap store bought container. Obviously run by penny pushers who care more about the security cameras than serving edible food. Won’t be going back and highly recommend not going if you’re trying to eat anything.

Great atmosphere, super friendly and attentive staff and the food was amazing! Hubby had the Bacon Sriracha burger with bacon sriracha fries which he devoured. I had the Yellowstone Sammy upgrade with prime rib with deep fried cauliflower in buffalo sauce which was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back.

50 bucks! For a small hand full of fries, not even garnish. The burger sides wilted lettuce, thin sliced tomatoes and onions, no pickle! Thought we would give them another shot. This is the second time. Reported it last time and got no reply from owners. The band was good though!! I would gladly spend a 100 bucks as long as presentation is good. Nice plate of fries. This was just sad. A major disappointment.
