The goulash was great. Portions were good, but I was starving after a 2 day fast (medical) so I could have eaten more. So we did, the lemon meringue pie was great, no metallic aftertaste. And I took a cinnamon roll home with me. A little dry by supper time, but still good.

Just about everything an old fashioned diner ought to be. The prices are fair, the good was terrific, the staff friendly and helpful. It doesn’t look like much of a place but I’m glad we dined here. I was recommended the Cook’s Club sandwich with coleslaw which hit the spot. I niblled on the kids’ fries and chicken tenders – also good. Kids meals are served in a Ford Fairline 500 box which I found delightful. Order at the front and served to the table. Our waitress was very friendly. I left with a smile. If I were a local I would eat here often.

1st time probably last time. Very rude service. Well at least the service you get was rude. Food was ok nothing that’s stands out. I can get better food and service at waffle house, hy vee. The place is dark inside. You can’t tell what kind of restaurant this place is. You walk in and look at a very large board. Step up to a counter and order. If using a card you must put tip on there and then. You make your drink and p/u silverware and condiments. Food prices very high for self service. Good luck eating here. I’ll probably will never be back. Ice tea tastes like dirt. No water filter system.

The burger and fries were good and fresh. But I am not a fan of these thin patty burgers. More bun and condiments than burger.

Really good food and service. The kids meal in the paper car was too cute.

Very courteous staff. Enjoyed a nice chicken fried chicken with fries and corn. A soda and chocolate shake to go. Chicken was a generous portion of breast meat, and gravy to complete it.

OMG I think I just found the best diner in Topeka! Amazing tuna salad sandwich was so good I had to get another and share it with my boyfriend. My boyfriend got the mashed potatoes and meatloaf and he said was the best meatloaf he’s had in a very long time. Privately and family-owned you can taste the homemade love that they pour into their food. No need to dress up, it’s a casual atmosphere. As you walk in the food is listed to the left on the wall. straight to the cash and they bring it to your table. Soda is free refills. I am now officially a huge fan of this amazing Diner. If you don’t like the food here something must be wrong with you. (Drop the mic).
