First time visiting and eating here. Very sharp looking. I liked the inside of the place. Very clean. Although when we first got in, we encountered a small dog on a leash (like a Chihuahua-type?).. on the hand of a teenager. Not sure of that situation. But anyway, I liked the coleslaw but not so much the burger. It was a bit burnt on the edges and kinda small. But for the price I couldn’t complain. The place was nearly empty too, so pretty quiet. I had to get a slaw to go before leaving. Wish they had bigger sizes.

The lady taking order has the worst attitude and eye rolling ever. Asked a question about the cookout sauce and she said I don’t know it’s color e sauce. Then asked for honey mustard sauce and it was expired.

I’ve been past quite a few of these and finally decided to stop in (actually chose this place over Longhorn steakhouse). Okay so I’ll start off with the pricing, and it’s unbelievable! For 6.99 you can get a whole meal w/ 2 sides and a drink. This is unheard of in today’s times! So I got the double cheeseburger with fries, fried white cheese curds, and cheerwine, while the person I was with got the same burger but with Cajun seasoned fries and cole slaw. The burger was average sized, but boy was it delicious. The taste was almost homemade, and it was juicy and had a perfect grill flavor. The cheese curds we’re pretty dang good, but the fries unfortunately were just average. The French fries were honestly the thing I liked least, but with a little bit of ketchup they turned out not too bad. My boss said the slaw was a 9 out of 10, but the Cajun seasoning on the fries didn’t really catch his taste buds the right way. Of course we had to try one of their 44 specialty milkshakes as well, with me trying the peanut butter Oreo and him getting the peanut butter banana. They both were super thick, tasty, and I’m kinda wishing I had another right now haha. Overall this place deserves a 5 star rating for what they are, plus the employees seemed happy too! Couldn’t ask for more.

I ordered the regular hamburger and onion rings. This was the first time that I visited Cook Out so I was unaware of what to expect. The onion rings had good flavor but were lacking in “crunch”. Unbeknownst to me, a regular burger is the actual size of a kids burger so it was very small. It was too dry and I wasn’t crazy about the seasoning on the patty.

My first visit to a Cook Out, but everyone else in the car had been to one before. It’s odd, because I’m the only one to have spent a lot of time in the Carolinas.

Great milkshakes for 40+ crowd! And the cheeseburgers are amazing. The menu can be daunting if you’re in the drive thru, so pull in and park. There’s usually no wait to order inside, plus you can use their clean restrooms. They have a separate dining room for large families or get togethers with a table and sports decor. There’s an outside seating area on the portico, where you can give yourself a brain freeze while admiring the hordes of people, who are idling away their fuel, trying to order chicken from the other Christian outfit across the street.

Our first visit was filled with mixed reviews, but nothing terrible. You walk into a very open area, with minimal tables, and it seems like a very odd layout. You order, pay, then wait for your ticket number to be called. Don’t stuff the receipt in your pocket or purse, because they take it back when you get the food. Our food was out quickly. Our order wasn’t 100% correct, but it was promptly corrected. The $5.39 plate was well worth it. Two meals, with tax, was $13.04. My only gripe was an over cooked corn dog, but I guess it was better than being undercooked. We’ll definitely go back. Overall, the food tasted great, and the pricing is right.

I love this spot, and I don’t live anywhere near one, so it was a huge treat to get to stop here. Cheap, fresh, nice. The availability of hush puppies and Cheerwine are big pluses. Friendly staff.

We were passing through, headed to Florida, and decided we would try something different. I’m so glad we did, OH my goodness! We will definitely be back as we head home. Delicious grilled burgers! I was a little disappointed in the hushpuppies. I’m a little used to having onion and seasoning in mine. Overall, very good food and service and affordabl! Wouldn’t have minded a little friendly smile at the window from the cashier, but I’m a Mid-Westerner, so maybe that’s just something we do.

The girl taking our order was so rude. She literally stood there stairing at us with the most horrible look on her face and rolling her eyes @ everything we said something. When I said no tomatoes, (after I ordered a chicken wrap) she snapped “on what”. When we got our order some of it was left off and when my husband we to tell them she told him you didnt say that, that never came out your mouth. While we were eating my 1 year old niece was upset (she was being whiny bc she was sleepy) and the girl just kept rolling her eyes and stairing at us. She needs to be in the back where she isnt in contact with customers.
