Our family loves cookout. I have visited many locations from Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina. I don’t understand how they make a profit. It’s so well priced, especially for a family or college student on a budget. You can get a tray that includes a main dish and two side items for $7! You can add a milkshake and the whole meal is about $10. They have over 40 combinations and these are thick, creamy style milkshakes. I would love to bring it to Florida. I wish you could invest but they are privately owned, which I respect. We will definitely be back.

Cook Out is the absolute best fast food restaurant in existence… Except Jack in the Box, but that’s not in Dalton!

Literally tasted like a home cooked burger on a grill. Even the bun was like the ones you get at the store. Good price, good fries too with Cajun seasoning. Shake was a little thick tho but overall cook out came thru tonight

Literally just left here about 20 minutes ago to take our food home to eat and it was garbage. The girl at the drive thru seemed like she had no clue what she was doing. We ordered 5 trays and were handed 4 drinks and one of them wasn’t even right and had to be fixed. Get home and one of my double burgers was a single that wasn’t even fully cooked and the other double burger had two wafer thin patties. The fries were over cooked and the chicken quesadilla was practically empty. This was hands down the worst cook out experience I have ever had. I might as well have thrown my $40 away.

Best milkshakes around! Love how they let you add whatever with no extra charge. I have got pretty inventive so far with mixing and adding. Peanut butter banana Oreo milkshake is soooo amazing and the banana pudding is my go to .

The person working the window was rude. Most are good but Sunday night at midnight the girls in there shouldn’t be working with customers. Not even the the girl that puts the slaw on the tray .. I ask for extra slaw to be put in try and the put this lil bit on the side. I had to drive to the window asked if they were open. Just plain rude for no reason then I tell them how much I like their slaw and ask for extra and they did that.

Parking is abundant, the store is eye appealing, the personnel are friendly and efficient, the food is good, the price is nice. What is not to like? I would suggest condiments open to the public.

I was mad at first cause they didn’t give me a fork and I got slaw, but I put the slaw on the burger and it was very good!! Hushpuppies were good too. Drive thru was a little slow, but at least food was hot!! Haven’t been here in a while, will definitely come back soon.

The food is good, they’re open late, and they have a large selection of milkshakes. I only fault them for how thin their straws are considering how thick they make their shakes.
