Not sure atmosphere should be a consideration. It’s drive through mostly. Some may have an outside table or 2, but it’s really just good, consistent food for a reasonable price. I rated atmosphere anyway..so they didn’t get points off for it. The atmosphere in my car is pretty good though.

Always love going to cook out usually but today was very unhappy with my slice of caramel cheesecake I received. It looked like was half slice and no caramel on it! And with gas prices like they are I’m not going back out during evening traffic.. but very unsatisfied with this most recent visit..

Cook Out is the best fast food burger joint in the country, hands down. The value of their trays, the absurdity of side choices (like a corn dog or quesadilla!!!), the mix and match shakes, it’s the absolute best.

Amazing location! Staff is always very friendly. There is usually a pretty long line, but somehow it moves extremely fast. My order has always been 100% accurate and very good. I came here once and they offered me a free milkshake because they accidentally made an extra. That experience alone really made my day and makes me look forward to visiting this cookout.

We decided to swing in for some eats after a long day. The drive thru attendant was fairly rude because I was not a prolific user of the menu and said “I’m going to just the way you ordered this” then proceeded to laugh at me for my novice ordering skills. My better half fixed my order and we were on our way with the right food items and the correct price by the time we were done at the window. The window employee was friendly and had tons of customer service skills and outshined his counterpart behind the microphone. We enjoyed our dinner of chicken strips/ cheese curds/ sauces/ and Sweet teas. I’ll be a better customer next time, and avoid the ridicule.

It was Me and my family first time at this restaurant. When i Was trying to ordering, i could barely hear The Girl Inside. So every time i went to order she Would start talking over me. It just felt very rushed. like I thought when we got up there the order was wrong. And I just got a lot of attitude from the girl inside. I just asked for a refund. i will not be back.

We were there when that Wilbert guy below me left his review in his car, after he was disrespectful to the lady that worked here. She asked for clarification and he had a nasty attitude, and then asked for her name in a condescending way because he got upset that his order wasn’t understood on a BUSY night. It’s not that deep dude.. She was doing her job the best she could, and while keeping a positive attitude. He had a problem, wasted her time and left a review out of spite.

Capital is my favorite location. Avoid Falls of Neuse. Too many errors, bad attitudes especially from managers. But Capital is fabulous. I LOVE Cook Out, will pass other stores & competitors to visit. Best fast food value IMO. And let’s not forget the shakes! Mmm, I’m thinking dbl chili burger with cheese, must, grilled onions, corn dog a quesadilla and my favorite strawberry pineapple shake right now!!!
