I was a bit scared to come considering the reviews and what I’ve seen, but honestly I was amazed and blown away by both the food and service at Contessa. The drinks were phenomenal and the food was exquisite. I will definitely be returning.

Such a spectacular tasteful experience here at the Contessa Miami! Just the walk into the restaurant the ambiance was so eccentric and lively. We got seated immediately due to our reservation and decided to sit outside. Being in the heart of Miami Design District the scenery of beautiful people walking by was an amazing view . Now let’s talk food ! I’m glad there was couple Vegan options that were mentioned to me I went with the “Fusilli Genovese” absolutely delectable the pesto flavor is powerful but no over barring with a beautiful savory ending note best vegan pasta I’ve ever had ! I also did ask to have the pasta made gluten-free. As for the drinks I asked for the strongest recommendation and was tempted to try the “The Venetian” this drink was sweet but definitely snuck up after which I loved , The grapefruit but the perfect addition to cut the vodka . Overall I absolutely adored this place and will definitely be back for the pasta for sure ! Definitely would recommend coming here for a nice meal and cute drinks for a lunch date with friends.

So glad I got to check this place out. Food was delicious, probably one of my favorite pizzas outside of Italy that I’ve had. The staff was very attentive, the atmosphere perfect for gathering of family/friends, or a romantic evening.

The St. Germain Spritz gave me life. I was in the mood for pasta for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint. Love the swanky room and schmooze vibe.

While I was walking around the design district, the rain started pouring down heavily, and I had to seek shelter. It was then that I stumbled upon a cozy restaurant and decided to pop in for a quick drink. I was greeted by the friendly bartender, Bruce, who made me feel warm and welcome despite the dreary weather outside. I ordered a glass of wine and settled in, enjoying the ambiance and the company. As we chatted, Bruce shared some fascinating stories about the history of the bar and the district, which only added to the charm of the place. Before I knew it, the rain had stopped, but I decided to prolong my stay and ordered a nice cup of coffee to cap off the experience. The conversation and hospitality were so delightful that I can’t wait to go back and enjoy it all over again.

Very chic restaurant in design district. We sat inside, in the upstairs dining area. The restaurant is very cozy with dim lighting, they also have outdoor seating which was very nice as well. The food was all very good. We loved the salumi pizza and the Ricotta Gnudi di Pecora (Ricotta gnocchi). Only dish that was a let down was the pumpkin ravioli, we ordered 3 for the table (we were a large party) and regretted it; it was definitely missing something. The coffee contessa was one of the best espresso martinis we had ever tried. The jungle bird drink was AWFUL, you’d think a drink with pineapple and passion fruit would be sweet but it was so bitter I could not drink it. For dessert we had the Crostata di Limone, essentially a lemon tart, which I loved and the raspberry sorbet was delicious. Definitely would be back. Reservations are highly encouraged as the restaurant is very popular and tends to be very full even on weeknights.

Nice classy place. Decor is great. Inside is a fancy 1920s restaurant, outside is a ice European Cafe. Food is delicious. Very happy the neighborhood has this gem. Make a reservation. Can also meet friends or a date at the bar.
