The ladies in there are the sweetest. Our food came out fast and hot. Love the warm soft buns. Prices were great. Nice touch to add cookies. We definitely will be back. Thank you.

Everything was perfect. Greeted as soon as I walk in, great food, the place has that small town feel. Prices are great. And they tell you thanks and come again when you leave.

The hot link dog is delicious. In fact. I took a bite, took two more, then remembered I was gonna take a picture. Staff is friendly and quick. Served while you’re still ordering. Good deal, too, especially considering they’ve got fancy Miss. Vicki’s chips. ($7 for the hot link dog, chips, drink, and cookie) speaking of cookie – oatmeal cranberry is the way to go. Decór is super cute too. Curbside parking.

This was our 1st and last visit. I can’t justify 3 chili cheese dogs, 1 chili cheese hotlink, 2 drinks, 2 toddler sized bags of chips, and 2 break-n-bake cookies costing $18.03 at all. I swear that place has to be bugged to listen in on your conversation. I am a soft spoken woman and often have to repeat myself. How could a person in another room and far away from where we sat, hear me say the hotdogs are better than Sonic at least? The Snickerdoodle cookie tasted like flour & sugar. No cookie should taste like flour, ever! I’m not interested in going back to a creepy eavesdropping place.

The older woman who took my order was sweet and friendly. The woman who “cooked” my hot dog did not cook it but rather microwaved it. Sigh. The hot dog, by appearance, was gray in color and looked as if it was from 1975. The hot dog was small, was NOT even warm, and the bun may have been older than the hot dog bc most of it could have been used as a door stop. Siiiiigh. I really had high hopes for this eatery. I will not be returning.

Food cold and buns not fresh at all. Coney Island OKC far exceeds this place. Buns were not steamed at all. Might as well eat at sonic.

This is a place that’s always reliable for the one thing they do and that’s hot dogs and chili extra cheese extra onions (I won’t be going home early onion breath) it’s worth it. Owner and staff are pleasant to talk to they will visit with you about anything you want to talk about. Great food it’s clean watch a little tv and if you are wanting a challenge they have a chalkboard that you can unscramble to figure out what it says. Let me know what it says I’m a little slow and I’m ok with that I will leave it up to the smart people. It’s fun and entertaining give them a shot your going to be pleased and full when you’re ready to go. Have fun and enjoy a great dog for me maybe I might just see you there.

Great little coney shoppe with quality Schwab dogs, steamed buns, tangy mustard, aromatic onions and secret house chili. One of my favs on downtown Shawnee.
