Had their coney dog 100% beef jumbo and a Chicago dog 100% beef jumbo fries (nothing special)and a medium drink. $17.50 The dogs were juicy and delicious with a good snap. The cony dog was spot on but the Chicago dog bun did not have poppyseeds. Not acceptable and I had to ask for celery salt. The owner says people don’t like the poppyseed buns. Hoosiers! SMH. Being from Chicago I’m pretty picky about my dogs and let the owner know he should have the poppyseed buns available. This place has been around since the early 70’s and has an authentic vibe. It’s a solid place and if they start serving the Chicago Dow with a poppyseed bun I’ll bump my review to a solid 5 stars.

Food, service, and atmosphere always great here. Their dogs and onion rings are outstanding (never had the fries) and somehow even the coke tastes better here great service from the owner and the gentleman with the Green Bay Packers hat who looks like Aaron Rogers. Always love coming here and I’ve been dozens of times with the quality never lacking.

Truly love going out to eat here, this family owned small corned restaurant has really good food. The owners are always super nice and welcoming. The service is fast and always good. And to top it off the place is really nice to eat at, always calm and cool with its older sports diner decor.

The Chicago style hotdogs are good and taste close to the real ones out of Chicago. The pork tenderloin is a winner as well. The restaurant is located inside a strip row of offices and you will pass it if you’re not looking carefully. The restaurant is family owned and the owners are very kind and warm. The soups I heard were good, the day I went, soup was, stuffed green pepper, and it was good and comforting. 4 stars because the French fries could be fried longer, I prefer mines to be crispy fries, I guess that’s a personal preference. Quick service, although they weren’t busy. Will return for the Chicago dogs, indefinitely!!
