Went to Conewago Inn for an early lunch on a Sunday and we had the place entirely to ourselves. Lexia, our server, was friendly and attentive. We got the crab dip (pictured), fish and chips, and shrimp basket (pictured).

We were able to make reservations online which made life a lot easier. When we arrived we didn’t realize there is a pub entrance and a dinning room entrance. Normally it wouldn’t be a big deal as they are connected, but the pub side is smoking. We would catch a sent of the smoke throughout dinner, but believe it was just our proximity to the door connecting the two sections and the servers had to open to door to get drinks from the bar. I think we would just request a table further from that door in the future. We were able to request the menu from the pub as well. Everything was very good, except one of our party seemed to get a crab cake that may have been a day too old, but they immediately took it off our bill. The smoke house burger was my favorite, the sauce they add was great. The potatoes skins were also another stand out.

First visit here. Tuesday night dinner. Waitress was fine, however where we were sitting had a strong odor of vinegar/ammonia/cat urine. Ick.

My friend and I were looking for a place to get good salads for a light meal. She suggested Conewqgo Inn. I was not disappointed. I had the Cobb salad which was fresh and crisp and very tasty. My friend enjoyed the Chef Salad, loaded with greens and lots of meat. We both had enough to take home a second meal.

I have been a Patron of The Inn since the 80’s with my family. I always enjoyed coming here and enjoying the food and drinks. I left the area about 5 years ago so I haven’t been in. Now that you’ve went and fired the best bartender in the county I absolutely have no reason to ever come back. From what I’ve read the place has went downhill anyway with new management. Which is usually what happens when know it all take over a long running establishment and think they know what’s best. Good luck with all that as I’m sure you’ll feel the sting on your next spread sheet, since all Nikki’s patrons will follow her. Her new spot will now make loads of money and hopefully be ran better than this place.

Update on previous 5 star review. What a shame the biggest reason we patroned this establishment was because of the best bartender in York county providing remarkable service, making an evening relaxing, never making us feel she was only being remarkable because it was her job. She did it because she truly cares about her patrons. Something very hard to find locally, and now she is no longer working there. I know we will not be coming to the Inn anymore.

I live in the area and decided to finally try it out! We stayed in the pub side, and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, the pool tables were extremely popular. The “regulars” are all kind and struck up conversation with us almost immediately. Ordered off of the after hours menu and the chicken strips and fresh cut fries were phenomenal! Ordered an orange dream slushie and it did not disappoint either. The bartender was attentive and kind. Even when dealing with the drunks.

As much as I hate to give this rating, it’s gotta happen. You let go of your of your best bartenders and the food has gone down hill since the pandemic. You’re more worried about meeting your ridiculous numbers than the quality and price of your food and the prices of your drinks. The bar employees are the least of your concern. If you want the numbers you’ve been asking for, listen to the customers and those numbers. They’re obviously scaring you and I’d hate to see you go out of business for YOUR poor choices. Really miss the old owners. At least it was good then.
