This is a must visit. As we arrived, Connie welcomed us and got us seated next to the drive-thru window. I loved it! Teresa worked the window and made us welcome in their beauty diner. Biscuits and gravy were amazing and the gang loved everything we ordered.

I researched online for cozy restaurants and found Con Cons in Bowling Green. It is a small place that hung on during Covid and now is thriving. Connie and her family/staff knows everyone who comes through the door and made me feel at home. The food is simple and delicious! Anyone coming to or passing through Bowling Green should stop in!

I never try to review restaurants that I don’t believe are good, this restaurant however, is an exception. Everyone was very welcoming which gave me high hopes, of course I understand the wait time considering there are several customers waiting to try this mediocre food and the limited space in the small building. But one thing I will NOT let pass is how EVERY SINGLE WAITRESS grabs biscuits with BARE HANDS. They grab a biscuit from the biscuit warmer and spilt it with their hands. No gloves, no pre-washed hands, nothing. I saw a waitress grab a dirty rag to wipe the tables and then immediately went and grabbed a biscuit that they served to a customer. No way this should be allowed, I was disgusted my whole meal wondering what else they might have touched. I can not risk getting ill and these people have no consideration of health whatsoever.

First of all… amazing! It was a delicious and a pleasant experience. Skip the fast food and enjoy Connie’s cooking instead. We were surprised by how quick and delicious our meals were- especially the Chicken Fajita Melt. the hearts of all the servers are kind and amazing. It was a great visit with 10/10 service from the owner!

We arrived at probably their busiest time on a beautiful Saturday morning (9:30am) and they were packed! If you’re in a hurry this is not the place to go. We had a 15 min. Wait for a booth and a really long wait for our food. (But we didn’t mind it was obvious they were working as fast as they could). We ordered basic breakfast fare of eggs choice of meat, choice of potatoes, choice of toast or biscuits and gravey($7). The food was basic and good. They have a large number of offerings for lunch as well. Open Tuesday through Saturday 7am to 2pm.
