Probably the best BYOB restaurant in North Jersey. Its a $95 prix fix dinner menu on Fri and Sat and it changes seasonally. Food-wise, they are def Michelin-worthy restaurant (probably not a full 1 star but a half which obviously doesn’t exist but should give you a sense of the food quality, taste and presentation).

Wonderful meal. Atmosphere was nice, you could see/hear the kitchen, which I enjoyed. Service was lovely, accommodating, and prompt. We were there for almost 3 hours total and no one rushed us. Food was fantastic!

Hard to give a 5 star when you’re missing the cheese on your first course when you pay 95 dollars per person. It was also super loud and couldn’t even hear the conversation from the other person. My first course was the salad and it was supposed to have ricotta it was not on the plate. Other than that meal was good but not worth the price. Wait staff was very good though! I posted a picture of my first course that was missing the cheese for reference

Stopped in for a meal before a show and was pleasantly surprised. The inside is larger than it seems, with an open kitchen downstairs and a more quiet, private space upstairs. The food was fantastic. Every plate was meticulously prepared, and the menu had some inspired flavor combinations that I haven’t seen elsewhere. The quality of the ingredients definitely shone through too. On the expensive side, and some items on the menu didn’t seem worth the cost, but both in quantity and flavor, the food delivered for the price. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, welcoming service and we went through our meal without ever feeling rushed, even having to make a show. Absolutely worth a visit.

So we decided to try this venue put for our first time. We drove about an hour and change to get here on time and were surprised of the quaint beautiful setting we entered into. The host was magnificent in greeting us and our waiter just as much. We enjoyed every moment and course of our Prix Fix Meal on a Friday Night! The food was amazing right down from the 1st course to desert. If you haven’t been here we recommend you come in and try it yourself. The food, service and BYOB makes it so worth the drive. As you all know we’ve tried hundreds of restaurants but this one had some options which jumped up to #1 on categories. The Branzino is definitely my all time favorite and the Rissoto is insane. You need to try this place out. Take a drive and enjoy. Just make sure to reserve ahead of time.

We had a fantastic experience at Common Lot! From start to finish we felt welcomed and heard by our server – she was great, helping us to navigate through the new menu options. The open kitchen is super cool, the Chef and his team seem to work very cohesively and it shows through the food. Simply one of the best meals we had in the area. Flavorful, creative and innovative. We truly enjoyed, highly recommend and will be back!

I thought I had reserved a table for my wedding anniversary since Resy said it was all set, but I missed the button to confirm. The host was very nice about it though and accommodate us. The food was delicious. The past was spectacular. I had a great experience and will definitely come back.
