I’m glad this place is open again. There’s a huge need for more vegan options in the area. This was one of our favorite local places. I think the chef has changed, but there are still a lot of tasty vegan items on the menu. I hope they bring back the vegan brisket pizza. We were not disappointed by the vegan Cesar salad and the vegan buffalo chicken pizza. People need to forgive any bad experiences with this they had during the pandemic. We never had one here.

Double. Vegan. Smash burger. Holy hell! I’ve had three of these in a week with their vegan special sauce. This place is amazing. This is the first vegan place that doesn’t up-charge for cute little vegan dishes that leave you hungry. They don’t skimp on the servings and everything is super delicious! This is the best down to earth, filling, feel-good vegan food I’ve ever found and the prices are well below other vegan options.

Really, really excellent food. We ordered the vegan cheeseburger pizza, the pulled pork, vegan Buffalo chicken, and some curly fries and were very impressed. Vegan pub food is borderline impossible to pull off without using Daiya cheese, which is essentially plastic…but the cheese on our pizza was amazing and tasted great. The pizza was fully cooked, slightly charred, and had really great flavor. Both sandwiches were a hit and the curly fries were great also. The only downside so to speak is that we are moving in a few months and won’t be nearly as close the The Commodore!

We’ve ordered takeout a few times now and have had enough food to finally review. Everything has been fantastic! The fries are on the softer side, but that’s likely from the packaging. The portions are enormous, especially for the price, and our orders have been correct every time. We’ve made this a weekend ritual and are very pleased!

The vegan options are great, the food is great, but on my last order they cancelled it due to “being out of an item,” and didn’t even notate what that item was so I could try to place a new order or attempt to call me to suggest a replacement as every other restaurant does. Then I made 21 calls to the only number listed for them and could not reach anyone. Guess I won’t be ordering from The Commodore again and I suggest no one else waste their time with them either. Unless you like hoping to get what you order and then not being able to get it.

I ordered food for pickup, and everything was ready on time, delicious, and full of flavor! I follow a plant-based diet and was very happy to see so many vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. The vegan cheese pizza (I got veg pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, and peppers for toppings) and tomato pies are excellent. I will definitely be back!

We just moved to the area and this was our Thursday night spot for cocktails. I really liked popping in for a drink – small bar with nice bartenders plus jazz. It’s a quirky place to hang out. Hoping it reopens soon!

As a NYC area transplant, I’ve spent 5 years in Philly trying different pizza places in search of a decent pie. A few places have come close, but they were pickup only.

Delicious! Tried the pizza last night and was stellar (better than most slices in this neighborhood). Ordered the stew and brisket as well and was fantastic. Food I rarely make at home but on a chilly night, perfection.

Chicken wings were amazing. Smoked and grilled! Got them naked with hot sauce on the side. Just in case I needed a little kick. But not once did the chicken touch it. The wings were perfect the way they were. My friend and I also split a white pizza (small). It was great. Looking forward to going again.
