I have been so excited to try Comfort Cafe as I always see rave reviews on Facebook about it, however, the other location was a hike for me – but not the Bandera one! It totally lived up to my expectations. They have a fast and friendly staff, great music, accommodated my 6 month old and the pancakes are delicious!! I highly recommend, can’t wait to come back to try other menu options. As someone in recovery I definitely appreciate the cause and love the concept! Bring cash, you won’t be disappointed!

Food was amazing. We were number 10 on the wait-list, but only had to wait about 20 minutes. The portion sizes were great. The staff was friendly. Although they do not post prices, they do recommend $15 per meal plus anything extra you supplement as well. The kids meal portions were great as well and the side of fruit was literally a bowl of fruit. Will definitely go back.

The vibe here is legit !! The same lovable staff making the same amazing food that makes the Los Patios location (and made the original location) such a screaming success. If you have not tried CC then you are missing out on the best thing to happen in San Antonio. I can not wait until they open a downtown location (have not heard of any plans… but just throwing it out into the universe in hopes)
