I got takeout for my birthday—tandoor chicken, garlic rosemary naan, shrimp curry, and a mango lassi. Everything was so good. I’ve eaten at Color of Spices before; it’s always good. But I will agree with other reviews; it was better pre-COVID (but many restaurants I find have had a tough time since the pandemic). I also would have wanted more shrimp. There was a lot of curry but not enough shrimp.

Went here today for lunch. The Lamb Kebab and Goat Curry was just right. Curry offered just the right amount of heat. The portions could be more for the cost, I think. But then again it’s in RVC.

I had to order last minute catering for a small party, they usually need a day in advance but they still accommodated my last minute request. Food was so fresh and delicious. Lots of compliments. Had the saag chicken and chicken biryani with garlic naan! (Tray 2 and was plentiful).

We moved here a few months ago and I love indian food and my husband wasnt much of a fan. I ordered the Butter Chicken and Naan from here and it was a huge hit with my husband. We’ve tried a few dishes and they all are fantastic.

Food was delicious at lunch – ordered the vegetable pakora for starter and rogan josh with potato paratha for my entree. The waiter asked about preferred spice level, and it was perfectly medium spicy.

Food has changed. Chicken Tikka Masala was dark tomato sauce poured over dry tandoori chicken. Very disappointing, maybe changed owners?

My daughter and I had dinner here for the first time and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant decor was very nice and not at all old looking as someone commented in their review and the service was excellent. We ordered the curry chicken, curry shrimp,nan and, chickpea fitters and, everything was delicious. We found the portions to be a decent amount and ended up taking home a doggie bag. Overall, good menu, great food and excellent service. We will definitely return.
