Inside is a bit rundown and old looking but the food was very good. Pastrami was simple but tasty and the BLT with Avocado was excellent. Decently sized portions.

Great tasty pastrami sandwich $14.99 bit pricey. Chili cheese fries not so spicy double cheese burger is totally worth $7.

I like the way they treated me. The order came out fast. The chicken fried steak and two over easy eggs combo with gravy on top, on the side potato grits and buttered bread tasted delicious. The dine in experience was excellent. Lots of elbow room for kids. Joanna, the order taker, was excellent. Very courteous and patient with me and my wife . Free refills on the coffee.

3 Stars because the food IS good. No question. The problem is, their Breakfast burritos are $11 with tax, and half the size of a breakfast burrito at other local spots. Good food, but maybe not worth the stop because other local spots have bigger breakfast burritos for the same price, or lower.

Seems the owner doesn’t want to pay for air conditioning for this store. It’s summer 100゚ outside and he won’t turn the air on. There was one person who was cooking, cleaning and cashiering alone. He did a very good job but if there was more than 2 customers in the store he would have been sunk!! We talked to him for a bit and was told that the guy will not pay overtime and he works 12 hour days no lunch no breaks. Literally a sweat shop! The worker was fantastic!

There’s a reason why this place has been here for over 30 years. It’s a great family owned restaurant with excellent service. I have never once had an issue with the quality of food they serve. If you live in the Rowland heights, Walnut or Diamond bar area and you haven’t tried eating here, YOU are really missing out. Best food in town.

Great place for breakfast! Everything is cooked fresh, (so no heat lamps) and there’s a lot of menu options. Portions are generous too. Their burgers are well-known in this neighbourhood. There is no table service, but that helps keep the prices down. Plenty of parking too.

One word…. AMAZING. If you’ve ever had the chili cheese fries, or the pastrami sandwich, or the burger, or anything really, you’d know that this is one the best old fashioned diners in THE WORLD. I’m not exaggerating at all, just try it if you don’t believe me. Not only that, the owners are super duper kind. Great place, really!
