Best food in southeast Kansas! The Stark style steaks are juicy and full of spice. Always cooked just right. The staff are always very friendly and service is excellent. The salad plates are actually full size plates not tiny bowls! Just a great restaurant ran by great people!

We had a party of 9 on a Saturday. We had Steaks, Chicken Fries, chicken strips, a hamburger and various sides. Plus onion strips and fried pickles and pie. It was all very good. My steak was very good and the fries and slaw were both good. The others really liked the chicken fries. They want to come back and try the chicken. Some had peanut butter pie, blueberry cream and one snicker-doodle pie. We thought the blueberry was the best. The service was excellent and the new building (was in Stark, Kansas) is nicely remodeled. A relative lives in Kansas City and the rest of us drive from Oklahoma and this is about half way. We will be back. PS I don’t give 5 stars often, so don’t let that fool ya.

The staff was great! Had the fried chicken since that’s about all they serve on Sunday lunch. Best friend chicken I have had since my grandma stopped cooking!!! Made me tear up thinking of her. Only criticism is the mashed potatoes could use some perfecting. The gravy was awesome too!!! Definitely be back when we are out this way again!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, friendliness, cleanliness, and quality of food. We will definitely be coming back. The chicken fried chicken was amazing. The birthday cheesecake was a hit for our 3 year old. To top it off they caramelized the topping in front of him!

Amazing food!!! We were given a wait time, and still seated very quickly. The restaurant was packed, and the service was still friendly and fast. We were never left waiting for a refill, and our server rushed out my infants fries! Best customer service

I came here today for the first time and it is hands down the best restaurant in town! My waitress name was Tyrah and she made sure we were very well taken care of. She even updated us on how soon the food would be done. Sweetest girl! The food was AMAZING! I got the Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin coated with brown sugar. It was so sweet and yummy! My boyfriend got the Jacked Up Chicken and it was pretty great too!

Colborn’s is home style cooking, with fried chicken being their specialty. I had the meatloaf and it was just like my mom made, delicious! Great selection of side dishes, staff was wonderful and attentive. I so enjoyed the atmosphere and loved the renovations to a beautiful, historical building.

This place is the best food in the four states!! Very friendly family oriented place to eat with home cooked meals and a salad bar like no other. Also pies baked fresh daily. They are only open Thursday through Sunday from 11AM to 9PM. Also they serve freshly cut fried chicken on Sunday.

Wow, I guess let’s start with the breaded shrimp…order this at other establishments before, normally its 3/4 breaded and 1/4 shrimp…NOT HERE.. how can I stress? really HUGHS shrimp and the breading wasn’t doughy it was nice crispy good favor..I had 2 piece Chicken Dinner…heck I had so much food I didn’t even get into eating the chicken.
