Very tasty food and backed with fantastic service!!! Will return every time I’m in town! Could only eat half because the portions are huge. There were 8 adults in our party and everyone raved over their meal and we all passed food around to try it was soooooooooo good!

I hit this place every time we visit. The food is hearty, original, and delicious. Super kid friendly. The beer choices are excellent. Dave is kind and humorous, and calls back to the days when chef/owners would visit the tables of customers, making it have a truly local feel. It is very much worth the “extra” drive from the Village.

Quite the experience… they had 4.8 stars online, so we thought we would try it out. When we got there it was completely empty, except one table with their family members. Long story short… we ordered, got our food, and it tasted worse than dennys. We wondered why the reviews were so good, and we quickly realized why when we received a special menu, that offered a free cookie for a review. Then after our friend asked for a refund after taking a bite of her food, we heard the cook from the back say; you called it. Talking about customers in front of customers is bad business in itself. This is a warning not to visit… but if you must, go check it out, and you can be the judge.

I should have known when there was nobody else eating that this is not the place to eat. But I saw the 4.8 Stars and figured it had to be okay until they gave me the special menu that stated you get a free cookie with a review. So I see there’s at least 24 people that got a free cookie. The food was mediocre at best. My wife was not able to eat her steak and egg scramble and so she asked for a refund. The people working didn’t even have the couth to wait until they were in the kitchen to start talking bad about us. I got the chicken fried steak took one bite and didn’t even ask for a refund. $14 is a pretty cheap lesson to know where you should never go again. Poor food, poor staff, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money.

This food is good. I mean damn good. It’s definitely got a different flavor and flair than your regular restaurant or bar food. Someone really puts thought into this menu and knows what the hell they are doing. The “specials” menu changes frequently so there is always something new to try and it is always amazing. I’m not a big “foody” but I always end up coming back here to eat because everywhere else is just the same old boring stuff.

I thought I had eaten a burger before, however, when I bit into the succulent double patty beef topped with fresh sliced jalapeños and cream cheese I knew that this is what burgers are supposed to taste like. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Whoever leaves a bad review is obviously someone who doesn’t understand what flavor is and they probably sat on a stick and it got lodged. If you’re ever in Sunriver you should definitely check this place out!! If I could give them 10/5 stars I would!!

First time there. The food was delicious, the fried cauliflower was awesome. I had the adult grilled cheese which was very good, the French fries with the truffle oil was also good. Will definitely go back next time we are in sunriver.

Great breakfast burrito 100% worth eating even known It looks really big. Great staff all really polite and super funny. It’s a great environment to be in. The staff can pick great meals for what you would like. Say your not so hungry they can reccomend some options and if your really hungry and want something big, they can reccomend some foods. As a whole great tell your friends to go

What an amazing find in Sunriver. Want to keep it a secret but owner Dave’s efforts and passion deserve a recognition. We are foodies from the Bay Area and visit sunriver every summer. This has by far been our best dining experience (for food) in Sunriver. We had shrimp salad and falafels. Former had the freshest ingredients, cooked to perfection and perfectly dressed!! Falafels were home cooked and amazingly tasty. We had beers from the Rat Hole and sat outside. Highly recommend it.
