I had the taco salad lunch special. I like the shell it comes in, and they adjusted the ingredients as per my request. The salsa was good. I got the rhubarb torte to go for dessert. It was pretty good. I wish they were open more nights for dinner to give more options in Zumbrota. We really like their all you can eat Friday night fish fry!

This has been my favorite for some time. I wish they took people with disabilities in consideration when cutting out takeout on Saturday. With the limited hours, my work schedule, and how loud the restaurant is on Saturdays, I can’t eat here anymore. It’s really hurtful to be excluded. I tried explaining that to the owner and he didn’t care.

We were in town for a concert at the Carnagie. Went for the fish fry. A small town diner at its best. Our server was friendly, fast and very funny. Food was spot on. Comfort food rules the day here. And don’t forget the pie. Booths, tables and a counter with stools near the kitchen. Priced right with a real sense of community flowing within. Nice to see all the seniors. Check it out when in Zumbrota, a very quaint small town.

Everything you want in a small town diner! Fresh, consistent food with an inviting atmosphere. Friday fish fry of cod or walleye with salad bar. Staff is careful about Covid precautions, giving gloves for salad bar. Good prices and good amount of food.
