Good diner type food. Caters to the older and family crowd who want to eat out without breaking the buck. The place could use a remodeling but the service is really quick and friendly. French fries are good and the portions are large even on their petite menu. Did not have room for any pie but they looked good and will try them next time.

I have attended many meals at Coco’s bakery and restaurant since the 1980s. I had moved away for a number of years and recently returned with my wife who is experiencing cocos for the first time we went during breakfast, which I believe is the best time to eat there.

Under staffed, but everyone doing their best. Did not notice our missing items in our take away order until we got home. Otherwise hot and tasty. We always have Sunday breakfast at Coco”s

Coco’s bakery restaurant is a good destination for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner . Very conveniently located on lake forest road just off interstate 405. Plenty of free parking; shared with the strip shopping mall that it’s located in. Spacious inside seating with no patio. We were unlucky to visit the restaurant today; they are having a logistical problem where the delivery truck has never arrived. Today they have no steak and no hash browns.

I’m 51 and my great grandma used to take me to Coco’s as a little kid. I have been coming back for the banana cream pie all these years (best banana cream pie ever). I always thought of Coco’s as one of those restaurants that you would see mostly senior citizens having an early bird special. Now I’m on the cusp of being a senior citizen myself. As a matter of fact AARP already says I am. Over the years I have noticed so many Coco’s closing up. I would jokingly say this should be a crime for this to happen. Several months ago I left California and moved to Colorado. I’m back right now to pickup some horses and thought I am going to go get lunch and a piece of pie. Sadly, I was disappointed in the taste of my food, especially the banana cream pie. Something has changed! I really hope Coco’s can get around that corner to find a balance between profit and the old Coco’s flavor. I’m headed back to Colorado tomorrow. I wish you the best ownership!

I hadn’t been to a Coco’s in ages and wanted to take the opportunity as this one is near my house. The cinnamon roll french toast tasted exactly how it did 20 years ago. My waitress, Pen, was a riot! The staff are all super attentive and thoughtful here, and the entire place feels like a time capsule to a simpler, better time. Pay this place a visit and relive some nice memories.
