My family (4) and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday around 11 AM. We stood by for a few minutes waiting for someone to clear off a dirty table. The waitress came and took the plates from the table and wiped it down and gave us menus. We sat for a few minutes with our menus and were clearly ready to order. Several more minutes passed. Two white men entered the restaurant and were seated fairly quickly and given menus. The waitress left and came back to that table and seemingly took their order. She walked to the back and put their order in to the kitchen. She did not come back out for several more minutes. She never even came to our table to get our drink order and the table of two white men that arrived several minutes after we did already had chips and their order taken. We left. When they noticed we walked out, the waitress poked her head out of the front door and said she may have “missed us”. We politely declined to come back inside and left. The irony of being descriminated against in a Mexican restaurant as a person of Mexican descent. I hated that my kids had to experience it as well. I would rather chew off my own foot that spend my money at this restaurant.

I eat breakfast here when I am passing through. The food is always good. The waitstaff is friendly. The best part is they open at 5 am.

If people rate this the best in town, then I’m afraid to try the rest of the other restaurants. The tortillas were very tough, (maybe they’re softer for customers not taking an order to go) but all of our six tacos were made with tough tortillas. The salsa was okay but it was watery. My papas a la americana didn’t have any chorizo, the chorizo is what gives that type of taco flavor, all it had was a few (and I mean like four) potatoes and pico de gallo.

Went in for breakfast. The dunning area is a good size and tables were well spaced. The waitress arrived promptly, was knowledgeable and pleasant. The meal arrived quickly. It was delicious. I will be returning for breakfast when I have the opportunity!

This place is a gem. You have to try their chips and salsa is so good. They used to serve them hot but this time they were not. Still great !! We had migas plates with sausage… Food was delicious ! Only complaint was the horchata had to much cinnamon.
