The place was Meh. First, the service was not great. The lady at the counter took our order, didn’t seem in a good mood. The food didn’t take too long to make and we got it in less than 10 minutes.

Unapologetic burgs and fries! Old fashioned was well balanced. Fabulous service!! Unhappy hour is a great deal! Not a huge fan of metal, but can appreciate it and would def return because everything was delicious

The service was ok I’m not really a fan of the music that was playing, but the burger gets a 10 it was juicy with just the right amount of crunch I definitely will be recommending it to other people.

Cool vibe simple menu. The fries are the stuff that salty dreams are made of really. Also had the garter snake and definitely was an interesting vegetarian option!

Cobra Burger is the best burg in Richmond. It is a smash burg, so it’s a different burg than reg burgs that be thicker. Best burg they have is The Gang Does an MSG Burg. Super umami. But others good too. ACAB good too.

The Gerard’s Way burger was superb, and we loved the Cobra Sauce for the fries! It’s a fun spot, barebones bar (don’t look for wine, but the cocktails are great), very busy. Great neighborhood spot.

I first heard about Cobra Burger from the TV show, 101 Places To Party Before You Die. The segment piqued my interest. The place sounded different, but interesting.

We were so excited to try this iconic Richmond restaurant, but honestly were disappointed with their menu. While the fries were AMAZING with this super tasty mayonnaise sauce, we were sad to see only 1 vegetarian option. We are both vegetarians and really wanted to try what they’re know for, the Cobra burger but were disappointed there wasn’t a vegetarian alternative. While the one vegetarian option was decent, I think there is definitely a huge market excluded from enjoying this restaurant. This is Richmond!! Every restaurant here has plenty of vegetarian options. As a local Richmonder, please expand your vegetarian options, but otherwise we won’t be back.

I read in a local magazine that the owner had one a cooking show with his Burger and that sounded pretty intriguing to me. So glad that I found the article because the burgers were amazing. We had to wait for a little bit but ended up sitting at the bar and talking with the bartender for quite a while. She told us that they ground their beef fresh daily and normally most days they tend to sell out. We ordered a cobra burger and the old bayou burger. They’re pretty much like a Smashburger, and you can get a single double or triple. The burgers are fairly thin, so a double might equal a normal Burger anywhere else. The Taste though there’s no comparison. The Cobra Burger is kind of like their version of a Big Mac but way better. Their pickles were pretty amazing as well. We are looking to go back to try a couple of the others the butter burger sounds pretty good as well. I would say probably one of the best burger places in richmond.
