After seeing this Diner advertising so much delicious food on an East Peoria page we decided to check it out. I have to say it’s a small town feel as soon as you walk in. Very clean inside for being that old school feel. The food was awesome and cannot say enough about it. I would recommend trying this place out for sure.

5 stars all around! I recently moved to the area in order to be closer to family and have driven by here numerous times so thought I’d try it out.

Cobbler Corner has been my favorite place to eat since I was a small child. I was very happy to be able to give my son his very first Cobbler Corner experience just the other day while going through Pekin. Thank you❣️

I hate giving low ratings to local restaurants, but would definitely not come back. I’ve driven by this place for years and wanted to stop in, mainly to try cobbler. My mom and I stopped in today for lunch. I ordered the chicken strips meal with mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll. The chicken strips were decent, but the mashed potatoes and gravy were extremely bland, as were the green beans. I’m not one who normally adds salt to foods, but I had to douse the beans with salt and pepper. Granted, they were likely canned beans, but it’d be nice if they were doctored up a little. The roll on the side….how on earth does a packaged roll taste so terrible? Not stale or anything, just the worst taste ever. My mom had been debating whether or not to try the meatloaf. She wished she hadn’t. Their “special recipe” was just awful….extremely soft, weird seasoning, doused with bland gravy. She didn’t get a roll for some reason, but I told her be glad she didn’t. Anyway, we were so turned off by lunch that we’d opted out of dessert (not that we were offered any). Bring your cash if you do try this place…cash only (although there is an ATM right by the crowded entry/exit. Also, just like every other place, prices seemed to be fairly high for what you get. And…..not that it was a concern for us, but the entry is not wheelchair accessible. I’m sensitive to that due to a late parent who used a wheelchair. I lm not sure if there was an alternate entry, but it was disappointing to see a diner type restaurant without obvious accommodations

Older mom&pops diner type with excellent food and service. Followed directions from the ad sign on interstate, small but the chocolate pie and cobbler on the sign caught my eye!! They were out of chocolate pie but had several cobblers. I had a patty melt fries and Cole my husband had a hot ham & cheese. Worth the small drive from interstate. Check them out!!

I ordered a mushroom and swiss burger that comes with two sides. So I chose a small salad and fries. The salad I got was literally a small plate of store bought salad mix (lettuce). The burger had canned mushrooms, and processed Swiss cheese. Then at checkout they only accepted cash or check so I had to spend another $6 to draw out the cash. I guess that’s why there was an ATM right by the register.

I stopped there to get tenderloins because they used to be awesome. My grandmother worked at this restaurant some 60+ years ago. It used to be a Pekin favorite for tenderloins. Not only was the tenderloins not as good as they used to be, but the service (I think she was the owner or owner’s mother), was rude. I found a better place now and don’t need Cobbler Corner to get my tenderloins. Cranwell’s drive in has good tenderloins. So HA-HA Cobbler! That’s what happens when you’re RUDE to people.

The food was not very good. The chicken was so over cooked. The hamburger was a premade pressed burger. Asked about dessert said they would go check and never came back.
