The food was incredibly flavorful and fresh- I highly recommend the gnocchi and the fennel salad. The scallops could have had more flavor and the carrot pancake was a bit gummy, but besides that, every dish was outstanding. The rum cake was delightful. I do wish one dessert option didn’t have basil/rosemary/thyme.

Finally a place we can call a restaurant in the area !!! No French fries , no cheese curds , no burgers , no expensive steaks that are not good !!! Just some good créations with good ingredients and a very nice presentation! The place by itself is really nice , good atmosphere and good service !!

We detoured off I80 to eat here and intended to get carry out and eat in the car because we’re traveling with a dog.

One of my best friends and fellow chefs, decided to eat dinner here on Saturday the 21st. It was a wonderful experience, to have farm-to-table offerings, that remained relatively true to their roots. Overall, we thought the meal was quite balanced, and seasonal. I was even offered sorbet that was not on the traditional sorbet menu, because of dairy restrictions. The wine that was suggested to my friend, was outstanding and paired wonderfully, from the oysters to the quail. I was also given a side of sweet potato coconut curry, with an intense flavor of cumin, that paired well with the porchetta dish. I would put this restaurant at the top of my list of places to experience in Iowa.

Absolutely amazing food, staff and wine/cocktail list. Came here for my birthday and this place has blown every other place in Iowa out of the water. They explain the drinks and wine to a another level. The care to detail when it comes to dishes truly shines through with each bite. This is truly a food experience.

Omg! This place completely blowed my mind. The food was absolutely fantastic. I’m not a hard client, but is really difficult that a place personally satisfies to me in order to achieve 5 stars. Salmon was perfect. The entrees in another level. Deeply grateful to reopen again and I can casually enjoy of all these Congratulations to all the people involved. Well deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We only went for dessert and got the s’mores + rhubarb cake. Incredibly well-made with exquisite attention to detail, thoughtful presentation, and amazing flavor! My photo does not do it justice and I highly recommend coming here. Was $13 per dish — way tastier than desserts I’ve had at restaurants which charged far more.

Literally the best food in the Midwest. We are lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber here. The downside is now I’m spoiled and don’t want to dine anywhere else.

We had a lovely time meeting a friend for dinner here on recommendation! You can tell there’s a lot of care and pride that goes into the food and service here. Servers and staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and educate you on their farm to table menu and where they source all their food. We loved the intimate atmosphere and all the mismatched furniture and place settings. Definitely a menu for a more open palette as the selection is small and flavor pairings are very unique. I felt like the experience alone was worth the visit but would also like to return to try other items on the menu. They also took a lot of care with my partners nut allergy and made sure to adjust where needed to make sure we all felt good about what we were eating.
