The chef greeted us with champagne, sat us, and delivered each dish with the help of us Sous chef who explained each dish. Every wine matched perfectly with its dish. The atmosphere was unmatched with great music and a very attentive staff. The chef went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. My first tasting and I am blown out of the water. Way past the number of tastings listed. I left happy, full, and tipsy. Definitely recommend for a date night.

Food was really unique and tasty. All of the seafood dishes in particular blew me away; I’ve never tasted tuna so tender (pictured). I also had lobster coated with a coconut cream sauce that I wish I had the entire meal. The white asparagus was super fresh and flavorful, definitely worth learning to make on my own as a side veggie.

This restaurant was amazing. Everything I ate here was so delicious. The price is well worth the food that you get. Even though it is small plates you get a lot of courses so you will be full by the end of the experience. For all my people who do not like wine they have the option of doing the dinner without the wine. For all my people who like to explore this is the place to go. They do wine pairings with each coarse they bring out to you and all of the wine pairs really well with the food options they bring to your table. The servers are really nice and very welcoming. The restaurant itself if a very cute place you can even write your name in sharpie in the bathroom, which is really cool, because not a lot of places do that willingly. Everything was cooked to perfection and the desserts are to die for. I live in Louisville Kentucky and just went to New York for travel and it was the perfect spot for me.

We visited Coarse NY randomly by checking table availability in the neighborhood on a Sunday evening with comparable great reviews.

Fantastic restaurant, everything was super delicious and creative and looked amazing. We were also impressed by the speed at the which the numerous courses arrived at our table. Staff was very friendly and the service was definitely spot on. Whenever our wine glasses started to get empty, they would immediately refill them or serve the next one from the pairing. $200 per person is a really good deal given the outstanding quality. Can recommend.

This one my first time farm to table experience. Entire tasting menus were tasty and interesting but I don’t think I would go again here because of the service. I made a reservation and went to dine, they didn’t check me in to their system marked me as “no show”, tall waiter (not sure what he is) very rude for entire our dinner time like He was mad at something entire night. We had to ask the host(front lady) some of the ingredients we misheard. Lastly i even put birthday request hoping that they would at least put a little candle for birthday person but when I asked they just gave a paper signed that was saying happy birthday. As far as of the value of the tasting menu + wine pairings was good but I wouldn’t go back here.

Recently had dinner at Coarse and it did not live up to expectations for the price. The total with tip and wine pairing was $270 for which one would expect Michelin Star quality food. To be clear no dish was bad, however, the “wow” flavor was lacking in all dishes with nothing that really stood out. On the flip side the wine pairing was relatively cheap and pours are generous but does not compensate for the food let downs. Overall, the price point for this tasting menu was way too high for the quality of the food.

I visited New York for a few days and I had the chance to visit Coarse NY. It was such a great experience! The food was so good and Daniel was the nicest server ever. He made the experience really enjoyable. I hope to come back soon!

Great restaurant for couples, every dish was unique and tasty, the portions are not large but very satisfying, we were completely satisfied with the amount, the wine coupling was good, but we prefer really simple and mostly sweet so it was not spot on for us, but I’m guessing most would find it much more satisfying. Very recommended!

Interesting and affordable 7 course dinner menu. Very good flavor combinations and presentation. The wine pairing could be better. Visited for a birthday dinner and highly recommend
