My husband and I are regulars here. Not only is the food and service incredible but they’re reasonably priced too! With their recent renovations the aesthetic has greatly improved to match that. A very big thank you too for their bakery Dutch Crumbs who did our wedding cake!!! It tasted and looked AMAZING! We couldn’t rave about it enough and our guests loved it. Not only that, but they didn’t bat an eye when we asked them to make our cake as gay couple. Very professional as it should be and we always feel welcome here thanks to their amazing service and staff!

The desserts here are really great! I’m pretty sure they make the desserts there rather than just getting frozen pre-made stuff; and the sizes are huge!

My sister lives in town and we went for breakfast. The outside is such a beautiful building!! It’s much larger inside than I thought it would be with private rooms for parties. Our breakfast was delicious and served timely. The vegetables in the omelette were crispy and fresh. The pancakes were fluffy and delightful. And that syrup pump was amazing!! I need that!! I’m sad that I don’t live in this area as I would be here all of the time.

After visiting the Flight 93 Memorial, we were driving along and decided we were hungry. Wanting to try something local to the area, we stopped at the Coal Miner’s Diner. It was an ‘off’ hour, so not crowded at all. I have to say, I had the absolute best spaghetti I’ve ever had in my life! Topped with sautéed mushrooms and meatballs and served with a side salad and bread, I highly recommend eating here when you get a craving for spaghetti, although I’m thinking anything served here would be good. If you like the Pittsburgh Steelers, they have a whole wall dedicated to the team in the entryway too.

Food was well prepared and delicious. The selection was very good and freshly made! You can find a variety of comfort food from roast beef with stuffing to a variety of steaks and chicken dishes. Today’s special was blackened salmon in Cajun fettuccine Alfredo. There is even a selection of Chinese dishes such as General Tso’s Chicken and Orange Chicken.

We stopped in for lunch. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was historic and nostalgic. The restaurant was clean and our server was friendly and kept my drink full. I will definitely be back.

This is a neat restaurant and the food was delicious. I would have given it a 5 but the lobster bisk could have been better but then again we (central PA) arent exactly a coastal town. Everything else was great! Service was wonderful!! I had the classic ruben sandwhich and it was very good. I also liked that they offered a low fat turkey version! My husband got the special a toasted ham and cheese sandwich and lobster bisk for a soup. He said the sandwich was great! It is a really neat place and the building is more of a house looking not just another run if the mill restaurant.
