I’ve recently attended High Point Brewery just because my best friend that is there almost every week told me I needed to try Coaches Pit BBQ. Let me say, spending over $100 was well worth ever bite, flavors was on point. Great quality food, service and I love that the owner took the time to step out and talk to to me. I hightly recommend Coaches Pit BBQ. Don’t be shy to ask for a sample. I’ll definitely be there next week again.

I’ve eaten at Coaches Pit BBQ a few times now and it never disappoints. This time he was at Alosta Brewing doing a whole pig roasting event. We had the Bunker Buster burrito which was amazing! We also had the pulled pork sandwich which was incredible. The pulled pork on both was incredible and tender with tons of flavor. The barbecue sauce was tangy with a little bite with tons of smokiness.

Hate to leave a negative review but the food was low quality. They were posted up at HighPoint Brewery on Friday. So while we grabbed a beer, we grabbed some food. Ordered the brisket fries, 2 tacos and a side of regular seasoned fries. Food came out in about 6-7mins. Honestly after a few bites we threw 90% of it away. For $10 I thought the fries would at least be fresh cut but they were frozen. On top of that they were even cooked fresh. They were barely warm and stale. Felt like they’ve been sitting out under a warmer for a good minute. The brisket and pulled pork honestly was just whatever. I felt like I would’ve gotten better quality food grabbing McRib and Fries from McDonald’s. Don’t waste your time. Crazy over priced for low quality food.

I recently tried Coaches Pit BBQ for the first time, and it blew me away! I first had a Brisket sandwich which was phenomenal! Brisket was super flavorful and tender, and was very filling. I also tried the Freedom Fries and they did not disappoint! The fries were perfectly seasoned, lots of cheese, and plenty of meat! I loved the BBQ coleslaw on top too. Usually I dont like coleslaw but this fits nicely with everything.

Best BBQ I discovered. Out near one of their event in High Point Brewery in San Dimas. Coach is a becoming a pit master. Delicious and dedicated to the craft. Best tasting brisket Fries I’ve had.

Stood there waiting as they gave numbers for orders not taking names. So I stood there waiting for my order for 10 minutes all while the guy called out “Order for Sam” no dude its a freggin bbq SANDWICH (which she wrote down as “Sam”) by the time I realized this was my order the food was cold, tasted like artificial smoke which I tasted the whole night. Not very organized and the food is eh. You should be Better organized next food festival.

I doubted the prices. I was wrong. Plain and simple. Their brisket is very juicy. Very flavorful. I think the ONLY people that rate this establishment badly got the unlucky batch. As a bbqer, there is always an unlucky batch if you cook multiple batches of it a day, but their foods great. Great bbq. More people need to rate it but customers of catering businesses or food trucks never get rated because their customers are occupied with other things, which easily causes them to forget to rate the food. Let this be the ray of hope that eliminates your doubt because my food was dank.

Stopped in at ESCAPE Craft Brewery and found Coaches Pit BBQ! We shared the ☆Freedom Fries☆ and they were excellent. BBQ Brisket, fries, cheese and more. It’s enough for two or just you and you.

We wanted to try the meats and rubs so hit these guys up at Marble in Albuquerque. All they had was brisket and no rubs to sample. We couldn’t have any refined carbs so we tried the brisket with a side of slaw and were charged the same price as a sandwich with 2 sides. $15 for 1/4 lb of fatty chopped brisket and a side of slaw. We weren’t impressed. The cole slaw, which wasn’t that good, had more flavor than the brisket. Save your money. This place isn’t worth it. We’ve visited many bbq joints in our travels and this is the worst.
