The food was so good I forgot to take a picture until it was almost gone. Everything we had was sensational. The mac and cheese was super cheesy, the candied yams were basically dessert, and the catfish was flaky and soft. The drinks were also very reasonably priced and tasty. Plus the customer service was so pleasant. The couple behind the counter was friendly and helped us decide on a meal!

Good perch and the two sides I got were good; greens and black-eyed peas. Definitely want to go back and get other things. Good lunch spot, not too crowded. Looks like a mall seating area. So the atmosphere is average, but that’s not their fault.

Food was exceptionally oily and service was SLOW to put it nicely. Bad flavor to the chicken and catfish. Tastes like the oil they were fried in was old. Additionally. I observed that none of the staff wore hair nets and/or gloves. Won’t be back on this fact alone. Not worth a trip to downtown. I would rather have KFC any day over this place!

I’m giving 1 star only because I haven’t eaten here but I happened to be at 1125 for the first time with coworkers and noticed that Coaches was one of the restaurants after I bought food from another restaurant. So I go over to Coaches and I notice that they are not that busy and I said to the owner that I’m not ordering anything but I just wanted to find out if he still has live entertainment at this location because I know someone that has come there for the live entertainment. It was as though he stopped listening after I said that I wasn’t placing an order. I thought that that was very rude. I could have been a person to help generate business as I know people who are always looking for a new restaurant or a night spot. The thing that business owners need to realize is that word of mouth is a powerful thing and they never know who could bring business their way so needless to say, I probably won’t go back to try the food.

I placed my order online, and when I went to pick it up the dude was acting like he didn’t believe me. I gave my full name as it was on the order and told him what I ordered, but he still wasn’t hearing it. Even when I pulled up Doordash to show him the order he kept telling me to pull up the order details. My name and the order was already on display, and that’s all doordash will show you, I don’t know what more he wanted. When I finally did get my food it was bland and dry and the bun was burnt. Very disappointing.

I didn’t know this place existed until I stumbled into the building on accident! Coach is friendly, the food is incredible and I will be coming back for more. I had the pulled pork (without bun), the greens and fries. I could eat those greens and pulled pork every day!

Chicken was really good, greens are out the can and not seasoned….straight thumbs, mac n cheese A+, yams was ok and fish was okay, flavored lemonade was regular lemonade and hot because they did not put ice in the cup.
