The Coach House has been a Quincy, Illinois landmark at 24th & Broadway since 1967. Throughout those years, many changes have been made but what remains at our heart is hot, fresh, home-made entrees created the way Grandma would fix them. We are proud to be one of the only restaurants in town to serve breakfast all day everyday – and always prepared with only the freshest ingredients. We grind our own hamburger and hand cut each steak to ensure quality. Our salad bar has been expanded to offer more options to the health conscious, and includes hot pasta and soups. When you visit us at the Coach House, you will be greeted with a smile and we hope you’ll leave as friends. We invite you to experience the Coach House – a great place for family.

We wanted a sit down, grandma’s cooking dinner & comfort food setting and that is exactly what we got. My husband got the Tenderloin Sandwich w/ Steak Fries which was devoured quickly! I got the 5 oz steak, medium (It was alittle dried out) w/ Shrimp & Clams, Baked Potato and Salad Bar, which I never got to. So many choices on the menu to choose from wow! I ended up taking the Seafood to our hotel for a snack later, which was delicious! Our servers and waitresses were very friendly. Excellent Customer Service. The best sweet tea in all of Quincy! The only reason I gave a 4 ☆ is because the restrooms could use some updating. Broken Toilet Paper Holders, the TP roll was on the floor, next to a dirty trashcan, kinda makes it hard for the elderly & disabled customers that use the facilities. Walls need a good wipe down. Other than that. The food was great and it is a very quiet comfortable setting. Reasonably priced. Good Job!

We got the Thursday deal, fried chicken with a side plus the soup & salad bar. When the new owners first started, they had removed the hot meats from the salad bar. They have now replaced them. The last I had heard, they also stopped the salad bar on Sundays, I don’t go on Sundays now, as I always enjoy their salads. They also close at 4 on Sundays. Insufficient folks that have a desire to work. Really sad ethics in our America. Enough politics . We also had the sweet potatoes. It’s hard to go wrong with those. And they were big, they got their own plate!

I’m from out of town visiting family and they brought me here for breakfast. It’s a cozy family style restaurant, quite busy in the morning but the service was great. It’s fairly standard breakfast selection and I ordered French toast. When it was served, it was four thick slices of what looked to be home made bread which was the best French toast I have ever had. Even my own home made french toast pales in comparison. Also, the coffee was good and the service was attentive and friendly. I look forward to coming back when I visit Quincy again.

Food is usually good, but quality is never consistent. Had coconut pie, and it was chewy like bubble gum. It used to be excellent but has gone downhill.

I hadn’t been there in decades and nothing has changed including the breakfast and the service. Excellent! I’d go more often if I lived nearby.

I had the chicken and love it. Sweet potato fries were perfect, and the salad bar was fresh. Great waitress. We will visit again for sure.

They have a good menu, good portion size, and good food. Best of all their prices are good. I paid less there with the family than we usually do at a drive thru joint, so I was happy and reinvested some of that savings into a larger tip for my waitress. If you’re ever in Quincy check this place out…

Service is always served with a smile. The food is fixed how I want it and my drink is never empty. The atmosphere is relaxing. Good place to eat.

I can’t say anything about the food. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated. Multiple staff standing behind the bar & no one offered to seat us. We finally left
