It was my first visit and I must say it actually exceeded my expectations. It really is your typical neighborhood bar/restaurant. Food portions were generous and the prices extremely Fair. Well it was Friday and we decided to have the Lake Perch, people were talking about how good the chicken was so I intend to go back and try it. We came over from Munster Indiana so it was definitely a little bit out of the way but certainly enjoyable and worth the trip. Met the owner who also seem like a very nice fellow.

The food is great and reasonably priced not to mention generous portions! Chicken and fish are the specialties but one time I had the world’s most mythical pork chop sandwich! All in all great atmosphere you can’t go wrong with the food great price point as well. I wholeheartedly recommend you try it!

Holy cow did I have some good fish not a big fish eater but it sure was good when I picked up the tab for four adults and we all had dinners they came to $41 good and reasonable I’m glad my friend share this place with me him and his wife come here all the time

This place was introduced to my from a coworker and glad it was. We went for dinner on Friday night my wife and daughter had fried chicken and it was super hot and super delicious, I had the lake perch and walleye which was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Everything is homage and made to order comes out piping hot. If you never been here try it out family owned for over 70 years I’m pretty sure that what they said. Oh and try the horseradish homemade and deliciously spicy. If I could give 6 stars I would.
