One of the amazing tea house in Portland, I love their tea is make in real stuff rather than concentrated stuff. Their food are fresh make and great! I mean as a Cantonese I love their dim sum!

Lovely Tea Room with seasonal focused menu. I’ve been here a few times and always enjoy the menu. This time I had an oolong tea set, scrumptious chicken meatballs, and a plate of dumplings in szechuan oil. Servers are so attentive and respectful, and you can tell this is a beloved local establishment that really cares about their customers.

We had a nice lunch here, sitting at an outside table. I have only 2 issues that bothered me. The first is that we ordered 2 dishes, but they were not brought out together. The second is that while the dumplings were very good, for $10 I expected there to be more than 4 dumplings. I guess I expected there to be 6 for how small they were, but maybe I’m expecting too much these days.

We discovered Cloud Pine last year and have been able to try each seasonal menu since, plus attend the Lunar New Year Feast. Each experience has been amazing. Food, service and company has impressed me each time. We’re headed back tomorrow and I’m excited!

I cannot stress enough how magical this place is. Miles above and beyond your historical dim sum experience! A 3 year art project by local musicians, this place will unfortunately be closing down in 2024. The 5 or 6 very diverse inclusive staff really care about your experience and want you to enjoy not only the flavors but their significance and share the culture behind everything. The menu rotates seasonally but major beats like pork buns (my fave) and dumplings are a staple. They also do “kung fu” style tea in which you steep for just a few seconds then pour for your table over an ornate bowl. This is the best kept secret in the pacific northwest and its on a timer! Stop reading and go experience it for yourself!!!

We went to Cloud Pine Tea + Culture and found it to be “transcendant”, in the words of my dear husband! We knew it would be great but we didn’t know it would be phenomenal. The owner and assistant were delightful and very knowledgeable. We’ve had some of the best dim sum on the West Coast but not like this. We tried all four of the dumplings they offered (including a shu mai and a vegan option) and the daikon with carrots and a pork belly bao. Truly, truly magnificent! Our new winner for best dim sum is right here on Main Street (same block as Enchanté Chocolates – another true gem).

Went here due to high reviews and was not disappointed – the servers are so nice and seem to love working here. Food was delicious and the drinks were sooo yummy. My husband had the Hong Kong milk tea and that was my favorite, but we also shared the golden milk which was perfect too. Had the congee which was a first for me – not sure I’m a fan of the dish itself but it was good, and the meatballs were also delicious! Super chill environment, perfect for a little date night.
