I’m not a beer drinker- I know, don’t shame me- but we went here after getting our nails done in the same plaza. Johnny was rad and gave the BEST food recs. We split the burger and made our fries blue cheese gravy and bacon topped- they did not disappoint. Super excited about the amount of gluten free options for my husband. And they had a great cider. We also had two tacos (carnitas and the no-meat option) and we are big meat eaters- but it was suggested so we gave it a go and so glad we did. It was right on point! Happy to have this place within walking distance of our new home!

The food was good. I ordered a burger with bacon and just got a burger. Ordered a root beer float and just got a root beer but they fixed it when I asked. Nice atmosphere. Was thrown off with the sink not being in the bathroom. Good place overall. My husband had to ask for fry sauce 3 times. Mac and cheese was delicious!

I will never be back. Years ago this place stole beer from me and then asked why I didn’t tip well. This place has good beer. And I know a lot of the employees from double mountain brewing in hood river, but I will never forget a server stealing from me and then questioning me about her bad tip. I had to explain to a server why she got a bad tip, because she showed up to my table berating me with insults. And I stated that stealing my beer isn’t acceptable. She told me “my manager told me to do it….” I told her, “ask your manager for a tip then.” Terrible service. Honestly they should be tried for petty theft.

I don’t normally write negative reviews, but I also don’t normally have as bad a meal as I had a Cloud 9 last night. It started off great. Beautiful evening and the server was kind and energetic. My wife and I ordered two burgers. I asked for mine to be medium-rare to rare. We then waited for about an hour to get our food, and when the food came, the fries were cold, the toasted bun was cold and the burger was extremely over cooked. Frankly, it was the worst burger I’ve had in a few years, which isn’t what I’d expect for a $16 burger. I’ve had good meals here before, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I hope they figure it out.

Service is fast, friendly and comfortable. Outdoor sitting is clean, and pet friendly! Inside is open, the feeling you get before even talking to someone is very welcoming. One of those places where, if you come by yourself, you don’t feel awkward! Now let’s get down to the food and drinks…. WOW, everything I’ve tried so far is fresh, and amazingly good. They have house specials daily! Just ask the bartender/ server what specials are going on for the day.

Cloud 9 is always a neighborhood favorite but I think this little gem deserves critical acclaim. The best cooked piece of salmon I’ve ever had was turned out from their kitchen with a risotto on daily special. We’ve never had a disappointing meal and the seasonal beers are always an interesting addition to the house staples (We really love the amber and the honey basil). The service is always stand-out. Triton recently helped me host an open house for my real estate clients during the holiday season and just went complete above and beyond; in his graciousness and making me feel welcome for bringing my business to Cloud 9. Even when we just stop by for lunch, he always makes us feel like we are among their favorite regulars.
