The food is always plentiful. Which is important for me. I don’t mind paying if the plate is weighing. Lol. And weigh it does indeed. I always get the oxtail when I go. I haven’t been able to find anyone in Birmingham that can mess with her on those oxtails. To say they are finger licking good would be doing them a great disservice.Her service is always friendly. And you won’t be disappointed with the flavor or the portions. Fat people know. Trust me.

Love it. Owner is real and funny as **** I enjoyed the food as well as the conversation with the owner. I will be back and I’m bringing all my friends. Greens were tender hamburger steak was as well. I’ve looked at some of these reviews and they are from my stand point false. The owner is funny and very friendly I don’t eat everybody’s chitterlings but this is one of the best places I’ve had them at since I’ve been in Alabama . I always get a plate of chitterlings with 2 sides and a additional side of chitterlings here. Don’t believe the hype the food is good. Before I go back to Florida I will be getting some more of your chitterlings girl. Thanks for making them!!!!!! Keep doing what your doing haters are good to have just let’s you know that you are doing your thing LOL!!!!

I ordered the oxtails and they had so much fat on them that you could barley taste any meat. The macaroni was good, but I literally threw the rest of the plate away. Maybe I should have read the reviews and ordered the baked chicken instead.

I so wanted to be able to enjoy and support one of our own. This is the 3rd time I’ve driven over 35 minutes pregnant to eat here. The first time it said they were open, I was greeted by a startled woman who informed me that they were closed though the door was unlocked. The second time, the site said open and they were not. This final time, the sign says closed but the site says open at 6am. It’s 7:28 I drove over again 35 minutes from home, pregnant, diabetic and hungry. Come on family, we have to have customer service

Ordered a meal from these people on Doordash and scheduled it to be delivered at a certain time. They accepted my order and took my money but then claimed they closed earlier than advertised. I did receive a refund but was very hungry and had to wait for another hour for a different order from someplace else. This place is a joke.

Online buyers and Dashers beware! I accepted a Doordash pick and dropoff request, arrived at the location, and was told that they are not accepting Doordash orders because they need to adjust their prices. (Followed by – “It’s simple…Do you understand?”) As a Dasher I do receive half payment, but that’s still a loss during peak time because I have to spend 15+ minutes calling Doordash support to clear up the situation. Additionally, the customer is disappointed (and hungry) since they also have to sort things out. It’s important for businesses in our community to do well, but it’s time to hold them accountable for simple things like providing pricing for goods and services.
