Very cute coffee shop right by the Duke Gardens! Stopped here for a drink before strolling around the gardens and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. I had the coffee Palmer which was unique and very tasty! Service was great and my drink was served up extremely quickly. Very cute interior that would be perfect for studying or working.

This is perhaps one of the best cafes available in and around Duke University area of Durham. Their house coffee is high quality and easy to enjoy. The staff’s professionalism and the cleanliness of the store (within/without) are also another highlight of this place.

This place is great! The coffee is good and the environment is nice (inside and out.) Damon is often working when I come in and he is really friendly, quick, and always gets my order exactly as I like it. I appreciate morning chats with him. Cloche is also dog friendly which I love. I recommend Cloche Coffee if you’re looking for a friendly neighborhood shop

These guys are so sweet period they make a thing called a pup cup period it is a small cup with whipped cream and a dog treat in it. It only cost a quarter and there’s a big partially covered patio area where you and your dog can sit and enjoy the day.

Accidentally stumbled upon this quaint little coffee shop and was so glad that I did! The lavender latte was delicious and soothing. The plants everywhere is what we all need more of and it’s decorated so well.

We went to Cloche twice on our last trip to Durham and really enjoyed our experience both times. We typically like third wave coffee shops and this was a great one. The people behind the counter were friendly and personable both times. The coffee was flavorful and delicious. It was fall at the time and they offered wonderful home-made syrups with some more popular flavors like pumpkin and maple, but then some more creative flavor profiles with popular flavors plus herbs. They also had some great looking pastries (we didn’t try but looked good). I loved their outside seating space which had a nice deck for my kids to play in. They have nice inside seating as well, with an array of hanging plants, and higher ceilings making it feel spacious. I would consider it as a nice place to plop down and work if need be, there were plenty of people there doing just that. All in all I found Cloche to be laid back, warm and friendly, a wonderful experience all around.

Screaming Atmosphere This tiny coffee house is one of the cutest places I’ve been too. I would’ve given it 5 stars ⭐️ but it’s very small and every time I’m in there is absolutely nowhere to sit and soak in all the plant baby love. The plants make you feel at home and just chill. I did notice outdoor sitting but both times I was there it was raining. The staff was super friendly and helpful with my questions. I had the Rose Latte with an extra shot & Oak milk and it was superb. I love Roses on my drinks and was delighted to find that on the menu. The second time I visited I had a Dirty Hippie (Dirty Chai Tea w/ espresso shots) also with Oak milk and it didn’t let me down. You can tell they use quality coffee beans and the people that work there drink coffee as well, so they have better recommendations. I would love bigger cups but that’s just me being greedy. Lol. Anyway this a MUST visit especially if you’re a plant lover, and if you’re lucky enough to sit inside BRAVO to you!
